who will pay for slavery

The Bible Says these People Will Go into Slavery as Payback for the Transatlantic Slave Trade

The Slave Trade: Who Will Repay?

ARE THE NATIONS GOING TO ESCAPE PUNISHMENT FOR THE SLAVE TRADE? WILL BELIEVERS FROM THE NATIONS ESCAPE?

This post is a follow-up to our previous post entitled: Israel Mine Elect: Children of Israel, Gentiles and the Kingdom of Messiah. This is mean to go into more detail clarifying who shall be the prophesied possession (slaves/servants) of the children of Israel in the kingdom (Isa 14:2).

First things first, those who suffered in the slave trade were Israelites.

Deuteronomy 28:68
And YAHUAH shall bring thee (children of Israel) into Egypt (bondage/slavery, see Exodus 20:2) again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen (slavemen) and bondwomen (slavewomen), and no man shall buy (redeem) you.

THE MOST HIGH REQUIRES THAT WHICH IS PAST

Also important to note that the Most High has not forgotten. He requires payment for past atrocities! However, his time is not our time.

Ecclesiastes 3:15
That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and ELOHIYM REQUIRETH THAT WHICH IS PAST.

Proof from the new testament?

Rev 13:10
He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

The wicked children of the oppressors will be destroyed and those who accept the Messiah and walk in righteousness (in obedience to YAHUAH), will be spared.

Psa_37:20  But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of YAHUAH shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.

2 Baruch 72:2 After the signs have come, of which you were told before, when the nations become turbulent, and the time of My Messiah is come, he shall both summon all the nations, and some of them he shall spare, and some of them he shall slay. 3 These things therefore shall come upon the nations which are to be spared by Him. 4 Every nation, which knows not Israel and has not trodden down the seed of Jacob, shall indeed be spared. 5 And this because some out of every nation shall be subjected to your people. 6 But all those who have ruled over you, or have known you, shall be given up to the sword.

LIFE ABOARD A SLAVE SHIP

To show the extent of the cruelty inflicted by the oppressors, let us take a quick look at life on a slave ship. These are the vessels that our forefathers were transported in from the west coast of the African continent.

Life Aboard a Slave Ship | History

Here we see a short summary on the life of a slave on the plantations:

Are we to believe that this will go unpunished? The Most High is the righteous judge. The wicked shall not go unpunished.

Prov 11:21  Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered.

Here he tells us he will make a full end of the oppressors, while still punishing the children of Israel:

Jer_46:28  Fear thou not, O Jacob my servant, saith YAHUAH: for I am with thee; for I will make a full end of all the nations whither I have driven thee: but I will not make a full end of thee, but correct thee in measure; yet will I not leave thee wholly unpunished.

Psa_137:8  O daughter of Babylon, who art to be destroyed; happy shall he be, that rewardeth thee as thou hast served us.

WHO HAS PAID FOR THE TRANSATLANTIC SLAVE TRADE?

Also, after every captivity, he let the oppressors pay for what they did to his people. No one has paid for this bondage in the so-called “new world.”

Isa 51:22-23  Thus saith thy Master YAHUAH, and thy Elohiym that pleadeth the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of thine hand the cup of trembling, even the dregs of the cup of my fury; thou shalt no more drink it again:

But I will put it into the hand of them that afflict thee; which have said to thy soul, Bow down, that we may go over: and thou hast laid thy body as the ground, and as the street, to them that went over.

They built their nations on the back of slavery. They treated the slaves like animals, tortured them, beat them, killed them as they willed. They did not pay the slaves and benefited from this free labor. The slaves were then not compensated after slavery. To add insult to injury, they continuously refused to pay any reparations to either the slaves or their descendants, even to this day.

McConnell: Slavery Reparations Not a Good Idea

So, no one has paid! Yet, there is no need for reparations: YAHUAH will repay:

Rom 12:19
Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I WILL REPAY, saith YAHUAH.

WHO SHALL PAY FOR THE ATROCITIES OF THE TRANSATLANTIC SLAVERY?

Yes, someone has to pay. Now which human beings shall pay and suffer YAHUAH’s vengeance if this happened in the past? We know that those who did it are now dead and cannot pay. Guess what?

The children of the oppressors shall pay:

Isaiah 14:21
PREPARE SLAUGHTER FOR HIS CHILDREN FOR THE INIQUITY OF THEIR FATHERS; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities.

Just as the foreparents of the children of Israel paid for their father’s sins, so the nations too will have to pay for their father’s sins from Israel’s bondage.

THE BOOK OF ZECHARIAH

The book of Zechariah shines more light on who will actually pay for slavery. It tells us what will happen to the oppressors when the Messiah returns.

  • All nations will be gathered to do battle (Zech 14:2).
  • The Messiah shall stand on Mount of Olives (Zech 14:4).
  • The enemies from the nations shall be killed (Zech 14:12)
  • Everyone spared from the nations shall (voluntarily) go to Jerusalem to worship YAHUAH (Zec 14:16).
  • Anyone who does not go will be punished (Zech 14:17)

This is telling us that these will not directly payback for the horrors of slavery. Some will be destroyed (killed with the sword: Rev 13:10) and some will have free will to go to Jerusalem to worship. They will not be a part of the kingdom. So who will pay for slavery by going back into captivity (Rev 13:10)?

WILL BELIEVERS ESCAPE BECAUSE THEY HAVE ACCEPTED THE MESSIAH YAHUSHA?

Now, what if the children of the oppressors accepted Messiah, cling to the children of Israel and are walking in obedience to the Most High? Will they be expunged of their father’s crimes against the children of Israel?

For this answer, take a look at the picture of what is to come:

Isa 14:1 — Isa 14:2
For YAHUAH will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land: and the strangers shall be joined with them (through belief in the Messiah), and they shall cleave (cling) to the house of Jacob.

And the people (children of Israel) shall take them, and bring them to their place: and THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL SHALL POSSESS THEM in the land of YAHUAH for servants and handmaids (slaves): and they shall take them captives, whose captives they were; and they shall rule over their oppressors.

Are you seeing what that is saying?

WHO ARE THESE STRANGERS?

Which strangers will be joined to the house of Israel?

Isa 56:3  Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to YAHUAH, speak, saying, YAHUAH hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.

Now, how do the sons of the stranger join themselves to YAHUAH? By loving him, serving him, keeping his Sabbaths and taking hold of his covenant. These are those who are called by his name (See Amos 9:11-12).

Isa 56:6  Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to YAHUAH, to serve him, and to love the name of YAHUAH, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;

BELIEVERS WILL PAY FOR SLAVERY

Those who join themselves to YAHUAH in Isa 56:3 and Isa 56:6 are those who cleave (cling) to the house of Israel in Isa 14:2. In other words, it is the believers that will pay for slavery! They will be spared to pay for the sins of their fathers, just as we were spared to pay for the sins of ours.

But what if I don’t believe a Gentile who has faith in the Messiah is going to be a slave? Here is concrete proof.

Amo 9:11 — Amo 9:12
In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen (when the Messiah returns as King of Israel), and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old (restoration of the kingdom of Israel by the Messiah, see Acts 1:6):

That they (children of Israel) may possess the remnant of Edom (descendants of Esau who currently rule this world), and of all the heathen (Gentiles), which are called by my name, saith YAHUAH that doeth this.

The Gentiles called by his name are those who accept Messiah. These are they who have taken hold of YAHUAH’s covenant. ALL OF THEM shall be possessed (owned/slaves) by the children of Israel!

Important: See why Gentiles cannot be priests in the kingdom.

The Most High is not sleeping. He is the righteous judge. He will repay.

PROPHETS IN BONDAGE

The prophet Daniel was righteous, yet when Judah went into exile in Babylon, he was sent into exile as well. Also, the prophet Ezekiel also went into bondage in Babylon.

Now if that happened to the servants of the Most High, why do we believe the Gentile believers will be any different?

WHY IT ALL MAKES SENSE

To those still infused with Churchianity (church-like assemblies: including messianic and sacred name assemblies), it might seem strange to think that gentile believers in Messiah will be slaves in the kingdom of Messiah. However, if as we should, we take precept upon precept, line upon line, here a little, there a little (Isa 28:9-13), we can see it clearly.

NO UNRIGHTEOUS SHALL INHERIT THE KINGDOM

For example, the Bible tells us plainly that no unrighteous shall enter the kingdom:

Mat 5:20  For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Mat 7:21  Not every one that saith unto me, Master, Master, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

So if the unrighteous shall not enter, doesn’t that mean everyone who enters will be righteous?

Don’t forget that in the kingdom, the children of Israel will possess strangers who are called by YAHUAH’S name (Isa 14:2, Amos 9:12). Isn’t it, therefore, common sense that those to be possessed are the strangers who have been qualified to enter because they are righteous?

Now, why must the slaves be righteous? Why no unrighteous slaves for the children of Israel?

Because these will live by Torah. They will be sorry for what their fathers have done and be willing to repay. They will accept their punishment and be good, willing servants.

There will be no uprising or rebellion as one would expect from unrighteous men. Additionally, they will receive good treatment from the children of Israel whose hearts are circumcised and living in obedience to the Torah.

Additionally, they will live in hope, knowing that their bondage will be over after the thousand-year reign of the Messiah.

This one is a no-brainer. No unrighteous shall inherit enter the kingdom.

CONCLUSION: THE SLAVE TRADE: WHO WILL REPAY?

The descendants of the perpetrators of the transatlantic slave trade are the wealthiest people on the face of the earth. There are far more billionaires in the USA than any other country in the world. The USA is the self-styled ruler of the free world. Britain also owes its vast wealth to the slave trade.

CHILDREN OF THE OPPRESSORS WILL HAVE TO PAY

They have not paid for the atrocities they committed (and continue to commit). Their children continue to enjoy the privileges gained from their parents’ works in the slave trade. These children include the heathen who are called by YAHUAH’S name through belief in his son.

They all will have to pay, but those who are called by YAHUAH’S name will be spared. They will be the slaves in the kingdom as no unrighteous can inherit the kingdom (1 Cor 6:9-10). Because they are righteous, they will be obedient slaves in the kingdom, so there will be no need for the inhumane atrocities committed during the slavery imposed by their forefathers.

YAHUAH never changes, he will require that which is past (Ecc 3:15).

GENTILES EQUAL WITH CHILDREN OF ISRAEL IN THE KINGDOM?

The religion of Christianity teaches that Gentiles will be equal with Israelites in the kingdom. On the contrary, as we have seen, Gentile believers who cleave to Israel will repay the sins of their forefathers by being slaves to the children of Israel.

This is righteous judgment:

2 Thess 1:6
Seeing it is a righteous thing with Elohiym to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;

Rev 13:10
He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

Isaiah 14:21
PREPARE SLAUGHTER FOR HIS CHILDREN FOR THE INIQUITY OF THEIR FATHERS; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities.

Jer 30:16-17  Therefore all they that devour thee shall be devoured; and all thine adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; and they that spoil thee shall be a spoil, and all that prey upon thee will I give for a prey. For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith YAHUAH; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.

Israelites suffered for the sins of their forefathers. Many have turned to Messiah Yahusha, confessed their sins and that of their forefathers. Yet they are still in captivity. They remain the rejected, despised and hated of the world, even though they are in the Messiah.

Remember, the children of Israel are his chosen people, the apple of his eye, a special people unto himself. Why do we think it will be any different for the Gentile believers?

They will pay for the sins of their fathers for 1000 years. At the end, righteous judgment will have been executed, and the Most High will usher in the eternal kingdom.

PS They won’t teach you these truths in Churchianity, because Christianity was given to us by Gentiles. Go figure!

  1. Thank you for this. Will the Children of the Oppressors who are true believers go up with the rest of the believers in the rapture, and THEN repay our sins for our forefathers?

  2. Revelation 20:10 speaks about the second resurrection, all those dead brought back and the books and the book of life was opened and all were judged by what was in the books. Those who did those terrible atrocities will appear before Yahusha. If their names are not in the book of life, they will be thrown into the lake of fire. So, those who did those evils the scripture tells us they will Pay for what they did !

  3. Shalom! Could you please provide the Scripture which supports, to quote the article, “they will live in hope, knowing that their bondage will be over after the thousand-year reign of the Messiah”? Thank you very much!

  4. Please forgive me, sir. Where I’m from people use exclamation marks as an expression of cheerfulness. 🙂 I am very, very grateful for your website. I look forward to learning more. May you be very blessed. Shalom. 🙂
