MEANING OF PISTIS SOPHIA
The word “pistis” means faith, and the word “sophia” means wisdom. Pistis Sophia therefore means the faith of wisdom. It tells the story of how wisdom acted on her own, without consulting her consort (HaMashiach, the Son of I AM).
She was led into darkness and chaos and afflicted by the emanations of self-willed (Satan) in the aeons, because the Most High allowed her to be afflicted for her rebellion.
RECOMMENDED BOOKS?
When we came into the Christian religion, we were told only to read 66 books. That is because those books allowed them to control us in Christianity. When we realized that, we stepped out into the Apocrypha.
That led us into other books such as the books of Enoch, Jubilees, Jasher, Testament of the Patriarchs, Books of the Natsarim, Shepherd of Hermas and more.
These are books that we wholeheartedly recommend to our readers as we believe they are vital to us in the way of truth. But all those paled when we were led by the Most High into the deeper mysteries of the kingdom.
THE MYSTERIES OF THE KINGDOM
In the book of Matthew, the Messiah told his disciples that he spoke in parables so only those who are to be given the mysteries of the kingdom will be given.
Mat 13:10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
Mat 13:11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
Significantly, he went on to say this:
Mat 13:15 For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
In other words, if we close our eyes, ears and heart to the truth, then he will not allow us to understand the mysteries which are required for us to be converted!
So we were sent to the books of the mysteries and the first one we tackled (proving all things), was Pistis Sophia.
SEARCH IN THE TOILET
In a dream some ten years ago, a sister who the Most High has consistently sent with powerful prophetic dreams, dreamt that I was telling her that whenever I want the truth, I have to search in the toilet.
When we were led to Pistis Sophia, we realized what it meant:
1 Thessalonians 5:21 Prove all things, hold fast that which is good.
In other words, do not just jump and say this book is good, but take the good from it and reject the rest. The toilet is the world of religious books out there.
In our search we got to understand that the Most high puts his truth everywhere so that people can see a light and seek him with all their heart.
That means no matter what deception we are in, there is at least a little truth to start us on the way to finding the ultimate truth that is in HaMashiach, the son of I AM.
GNOSTIC BOOKS?
So in seeking the mysteries of the kingdom, I came across some gnostic books that tell some truth, but lead it into their way of thinking. They essentially place knowledge as the way to salvation, knowledge that they themselves search and attain.
It is not the Son of I AM that saves them, it is the knowledge that he gives that they must attain for themselves. Do you see how subtle a difference it is?
BEWARE OF MANY BOOKS
This is when I got to understand this:
Ecc 12:12-13 And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh. Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear I AM, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
So, what do I do?
Know and accept that this is the toilet, not the full truth!
First of all, I even tried not to mention the names of the books. Then when I had to mention the names, I cautioned people that I am not telling them to download it, as if they are not mature, they can easily be led astray.
I volunteered to search the mysteries, and in our teachings I would reveal what is good. As such, Pistis Sophia, is the first, and probably only full gnostic book that I will recommend on Just A Word.
THE POWER OF PISTIS SOPHIA
Indeed, Pistis Sophia may be the mildest, yet it contains even some incantations that I urge people to skip over.
But I believe it is such an important breakthrough in our understanding, it is necessary to move to a higher level of understanding. This book now makes the bible appear to be a new book to me.
Things that I could not understand are now understandable. Things I understood now take on a deeper meaning. Indeed, wisdom is poured out after reading this book.
THE REPENTANCE OF SOPHIA & THE 12-DAY FAST
Additionally, the repentances of Sophia are priceless, as they make us see how we can be deceived in religion, and how much of the world is deceived, those who hold on fast to religious errors.
The Most High told us that anyone who has taken an abortion must do a 12-day fast. The twelve repentances of Sophia were recommended by revelation as to be done each day for the 12 days. The twelfth day was when she was finally freed from the emanations of self-willed (Satan).
