BAPTISM IN WHICH NAME OR NAMES?
Baptism in which name? Which name should I be baptized in? Was I baptized correctly? Do I need to re-baptize? Can you help me to understand what Matthew 28:19 means?
What does it say in Matthew 28:19? In the KJV, it says (literally):
Mat 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
So most people interpret that to mean baptizing in the name of 3 names or rather, titles. However, there is no precedence in the scripture of this being done.
So, we have a little problem here. How do we resolve this?
