Can I baptize myself? This is a question that has been asked of me too many times. Hence I decided to address it once and for all.
Now we know that someone is supposed to baptize us. But what if we cannot find someone to do so? For example, we baptize in the name of Yahusha HaMashiach, but what if we cannot find anyone to do it in that name?
Why Do You Need To Baptize Yourself?
Well, before we answer that question, the first big question is, why do you need to baptize yourself? Is it that you are too lazy to really push to overcome the challenge of finding someone to do it for you? Or is it really that you absolutely cannot find anyone at all?
How Hard Have You Tried To Find Someone To Baptize You?
The first thing we recommend is to try to find someone, even someone far away. I have known people who have travelled several states in the USA, driving many hours to reach someone to baptize them. Remember John’s baptism?
Mat 3:5 Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan,
Mat 3:6 And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins.
The entire nation went to John to be baptized. That means they came from all over the nation, and guess what? They did not have the speedy means of transportation that we have today.
But yet, they still came from all over the country!
Now today, because people do not know someone in their town (not saying this is the case with you or everyone), they give up and will tell you they have no one to baptize them!
But real faith is actually pushing against the challenges, and going anywhere it is needed to be baptized.
Indeed, I have known more than one persons in the United States willing to come here to South Africa to be baptized. Good for them, they were able to find someone in the USA to do it for them.
But it is proof that baptism is an act of faith, that may require more faith for some than for others.

Find Someone Set Apart
Can I baptize myself? Another thing to bear in mind is that baptisms in the scripture were done by righteous men. We do not recommend just using someone simply because we want to be baptized. You see, there was a reason people came all over the country to John.
He was set apart.
Please try to find someone set apart and not someone dabbling in sin.
What If You Are In The Middle Of Nowhere?
But what if you are in an island in a place like Norway, for example? There, to even find another believer calling on the name of YAHUAH, being willing and able to baptize in the name of Yahusha HaMashiach is very unlikely.
Therefore, this post is so anyone asking can receive what has been laid upon me according to the word of the Most High.
