The Battle Between Food And Faith
The end time battle between food and faith looks at the part that food plays in our salvation. More specifically, it looks at the part food plays in preventing us to partake of salvation unto eternal life.
Most would be shocked to know how important a factor food plays in our righteousness. Our ability to exercise self control over our bellies and its lusts and desires plays a great role in a believer’s life.
Indeed, self control (temprance) is one of the fruit of the Ruach. So if we cannot exercise temprance over our appetite, then we will be in serious trouble. Yet this is not often preached or taught!
We are mostly taught not to eat meats not allowed in Leviticus 11. So we emphasize not eating pork, shellfish, catfish and other unclean flesh.
However, it is way deeper than that, Watch the video at the top of this article. It is our latest and most revealing look at the topic of food.

Remember, it is the job of the adversary to ensure that we do not overcome. Hence, it is very fitting that in Revelation chapters 2 and 3 that speak about us overcoming, it also speaks of the role of food in preventing us:
Rev_2:14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.
Rev_2:20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
