A strong delusion meaning? In this post we are going to take a detailed look at strong delusion in the bible. This is going to be so comprehensive, you should never lack understanding of strong delusion after reading this post.

Apart from that, it goes into explanations of so many different misunderstood writings in the Bible. This one post should edify in so many different areas.

Now first of all, we have spoken about strong delusion to believe a lie in several of our previous posts, but it has taken us us a few years to actually focus totally on it in one article.

Now the wait has been worth it as fortunately, over time we have been given a much deeper understanding of strong delusion which I will share in this post.

Sadly though, this experience has made me realize that almost all believers are under a strong delusion believing we are on the way to the kingdom. you will soon see why.

THE NARROW WAY

The exception to this are those on the narrow way (that few find). It is imperative that we know that if we are on the narrow way, we will be free from the threat of being sent a strong delusion.

Unfortunately though, most are going through the wide gate that leads to destruction.

Mat 7:13  Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction (STRONG DELUSION), and many there be which go in thereat:

Mat 7:14  Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

The problem is though, how do we know we are on the narrow path?

STRONG DELUSION BIBLE VERSES

Hence we have to, we MUST find the narrow gate. In addition, we have to understand all there is to know about  this strong delusion so that we do not get caught in it.

Here are the strong delusion bible verses.

2Th 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

2Th 2:11 And for this cause Aluah shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

2Th 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

 

WHAT ABOUT THE LAWLESS ONE (THE MAN OF SIN)?

But before we reach to 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12 above, we must look at the preceding verses. This is because we cannot speak about strong delusion in the bible without speaking about the lawless one, also known as the man of sin who Christians call antichrist, but who is more properly called antimashiach or antimessiah.

2Th 2:3  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

2Th 2:4  Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called Aluah, or that is worshipped; so that he as Aluah sitteth in the temple of Aluah, shewing himself that he is Aluah.

2Th 2:7  For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

2Th 2:8  And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Master shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

2Th 2:9  Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

It tells of a lawless one who will come with signs and lying wonders after the working of Satan. This is who is called the antichrist and is referred to in several other places. I will share two such accounts below.

Isa 14:12  How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
Isa 14:13  For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of Aluah: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
Isa 14:14  I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

 

But I have not found anywhere that tells us about this coming antimessiah as in the book, the Ascension of Isaiah, which you may download here from our website. Here is an excerpt.

4. This ruler in the form of that king will come and there will come with him all the powers of this world, and they will hearken unto him in all that he desires.

5. And at his word the sun will rise at night and he will make the moon to appear at the sixth hour.

6. And all that he hath desired he will do in the world: he will do and speak like the Beloved and he will say: “I am Aluah and before me there has been none.”

7. And all the people in the world will believe in him. (He deceives the whole world.

8. And they will sacrifice to him and they will serve him saying: “This is Aluah and beside him there is no
other.”
9. And they greater number of those who shall have been associated together in order to receive the Beloved, he will turn aside after him

10. And there will be the power of his miracles in every city and region.

 

See that? it clearly tells us about this end time ruler spoken of in 2 Thessalonians 2.

But now here is the error that most Christians are making: thinking that this strong delusion is reserved for the end times, just before this lawless one comes!

By the way, we are in the season of the antimessiah, since the mark of the beast has been given to the world.

That is why this teaching is so important, as it will show that it will not only happen when the antimessiah comes, but also show that strong delusion is continuous.

Let us not digress, but continue by looking at Isaiah 66:4 and see why he will send delusions:

Isa 66:4  I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.

Look carefully and you will see: “because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.”

 

So do you think he will reserve strong delusions ONLY to the end time?

No. As long as when he calls we do not answer, when he speaks we do not hear, when we do evil before his eyes, and when we choose that in which he does not delight. As long as we do that, we are in danger of him choosing our delusions.

Why? YAHUAH never changes.

Malachi 3:6  For I am YAHUAH, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

 

What’s more, there will come a time of falling away first.

2Th_2:3  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

There will come a falling away first before the antimessiah comes.

Guess what?

We are in this time of falling away!

If we cannot see the appalling and declining (falling away) state of belief in this world with apostate Christianity in the lead, then we must be spiritually blind.

Hence strong delusion has been with us now and ever since there was a Beliar/Satan/prince of error.

We will look at this as we go.

Therefore this post is based on that foundation, that strong delusion is with us and is ongoing. It will not only be based on the time of this wicked, lawless one, man of sin, son of perdition, antichrist, antimessiah.

DELUSION VS STRONG DELUSION

So let’s begin by diving deeper into the strong delusion biblical meaning.

But before that, we have to state the clear difference between delusion and strong delusion.

So first, let us look at the meaning of delusion as used in the bible in the term “strong delusion.”

WHAT IS A DELUSION?

Delusion in the bible is a deception in which we are led into error to stray away from righteousness. Look below at the keywords from the meaning above and you will see:

  • Fraudulence
  • Straying from orthodoxy or piety
  • Deceit
  • To deceive
  • Delusion
  • Error

Now this deception can be upon us to varying degrees, and for many of us it is something we can recover from. Some may have varying false doctrines and false teachings and others may have an entire religion that is false.

Yes, fortunately, we can come out of this delusion if we repent and turn to a life of pure righteousness. We have to go all out, otherwise, we might come out of one delusion and still be left in another.

To come out of all delusions, we have to have a relentless desire for truth (2 Thess 2:10) and seek to prove all things, holding fast that which is good (1 Thess 5:21).

WHAT IS A STRONG DELUSION?

So now we understand delusion, we next look at what is a strong delusion?

Almost all of us are under a delusion. You must get the FULL understanding so you know whether or not you are under a delusion or a strong delusion, then you can come out to save your soul.

Yes, you may think you are already saved, but trust me, you have no idea how much we have been deceived by man’s religions!

STRONG DELUSION IN THE BIBLE

So that said, let us turn to what strong delusion means by looking at the meaning of strong as used in the verse:

2Th 2:11 And for this cause Aluah shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

Recall that we have already just looked at the meaning of delusion. Let us look at the meaning of the word”strong.”

It speaks of energy: a strong, active delusion/deception/lie that follows us everywhere. It is effectual working, which means it doesn’t fail to work to produce the deception!

So strong delusion is a deception brought on by the Most High as a result of our constant transgression/stubbornness/rebellion against him, in which we will be blinded so we can be damned or destroyed. It is essentially a strong spirit of delusion that blinds us thinking we are doing the will of the Most High AHAYAH.

 

RELIGION AND STRONG DELUSION

Regrettably, the most profound example of this strong delusion is in man’s religions. That is because almost all of us think we are on the right path because with religion there are many delusions.

But why?

Narrow is the way that leads to life and few there be that find it (Mat 7:14). Sadly also, add to that the fact that we are social beings. We flock to whatever is popular.

That is why there are approximately 2.2 billion Christians and 1.9 billion Muslims today. Wide is the gate that leads to destruction, and many there be that go in through that gate (Mat 7:13).

Remember, the world population is approximately 8 billion which means half of the world is either Christian or Muslim. Many are called, few are chosen. Half the population of the world is not few.

Almost certainly, you cannot tell the Muslims that they are wrong. Likewise you cannot tell the 40 odd thousand Christian denominations that they are on the wrong path!

Wait, Christians don’t get angry and leave. Prove all things, hold fast that which is good (1 Thess 5:21).

Sadly, you cannot tell the Hebrew Israelites that they are wrong (even though they are right in many things), neither can you tell most followers of the way like us that we are wrong.

All of us are in some kind of delusion, and we must accept this to come out of it, because we have to search for him with all our hearts to be able to find him.

Jer 29:13  And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

 

Our downfall is that most of us search for him in religion that tells us a few things to do and we are okay. That is where our error begins and we remain in a delusion, which may eventually cause us to be sent a STRONG delusion.

 

ONLY ONE NARROW WAY TO THE FATHER

However, we were told that there is only one way to the Father (John 14:6).

And weren’t we also told that the way is narrow and few will find it (Matt 7:13-14)?

Do you see then why you need to continue reading this post? This will let you know how you can figure out if you are in a delusion or worse, even a strong delusion.

Most importantly, we will let you know the sure ways we can avoid delusion or even come out of strong delusion before Aluah’s judgment is executed on us.

 

The point I am making, is that here is only one way to the Father, and most have missed it, because it is narrow. Many are called, few are chosen (Matt 22:14).

So some things in this post will refer to a delusion so those of us who hear can awaken and change, as well as some will refer to strong delusion so we know the danger signs and how to avoid it.

Also, there will be some hard truths shared, because it is the love of the truth that saves us. Speaking of hard truths? Be prepared for what is coming next.

 

THE STRONG DELUSION OF CHRISTIANITY

If I am not mistaken, I just said every Christian being under a strong delusion. This was me speaking from personal experience and observation over time.

Yes, I was in delusion in Pentecostal Christianity, but because of my desire for truth, I was able to come out of the deception. Searching for the truth until I found the way (John 14:6).

Act 24:14  But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the Aluah of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:
Act 24:15  And have hope toward Aluah, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.

 

Now I continue to seek truth so as to remove all the blindness that was placed upon us as a people when we went into captivity.

To fully understand strong delusion and almost every other major bible teaching, you must understand who the true children of Israel are today.

For those who understand, false religion that was our curse, the curse of the children of Israel in slavery:

Deu 28:64  And YAHUAH shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone.

Hence any religion our people were given when we were scattered in slavery is our curse.

Guess what?

The religion our people was given was Christianity!

This is our curse, and to remain in it is our strong delusion. Let me explain.

You see, when we know who the children of Israel are, the whole Bible becomes so much easier to understand. We Israelites were made to be in blindness for transgressing against our Father:

Isa 1:2  Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for YAHUAH hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.
Isa 1:3  The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master’s crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider.

And for transgressing against him, he took away our heritage from us.

Jer_17:4  And thou, even thyself, shalt discontinue from thine heritage that I gave thee; and I will cause thee to serve thine enemies in the land which thou knowest not: for ye have kindled a fire in mine anger, which shall burn for ever.

Now what is that heritage?

Jer_2:7  And I brought you into a plentiful country, to eat the fruit thereof and the goodness thereof; but when ye entered, ye defiled my land, and made mine heritage an abomination.

His heritage is his land.

When we were taken off the land, we were sent under the curses to another land to worship false gods.

Deu 28:36  YAHUAH shall bring thee, and thy king which thou shalt set over thee, unto a nation (STRANGE LAND) which neither thou nor thy fathers have known; and there shalt thou serve other gods, wood and stone (FALSE GODS/RELIGIONS).

 

But when the time of the Gentiles is at its fullness, then we will awaken!

Rom 11:25  For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

So as their time is coming to an end, we turn back to him, as he promised to gather us back again in the land.

Jer_30:3  For, lo, the days come, saith YAHUAH, that I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith YAHUAH: and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.

 

Now if you do not understand this, then it means you are under a strong delusion. Indeed, if you believe that our Father has forgotten his people and have now chosen Christians instead?

You have been caught up in the wine of Babylon.

Jer 51:7  Babylon hath been a golden cup in YAHUAH’S hand, that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunken of her wine; therefore the nations are mad.

 

Why do I say that? Because our Father swore we will never stop from being a nation before him! Look…

Jer 31:35  Thus saith YAHUAH, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; YAHUAH of hosts is his name:

Jer 31:36  If those ordinances depart from before me, saith YAHUAH, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.

Jer 31:37  Thus saith YAHUAH; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith YAHUAH.

 

The truth is, Christianity is replacement theology from the nation of Edom: to replace the true children of Israel and make Edomites the chosen. You may not understand what I am saying unless you find out who are the Edomites today.

STRONG DELUSION SCRIPTURE: 2 THESSALONIANS 2:10-12

At this time, let us take a look at the important parts of the 3 verses above from 2 Thessalonians 2:

2Th 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

2Th 2:11 And for this cause Aluah shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

2Th 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

STRONG DELUSION EXPLAINED: DECEIVABLENESS OF UNRIGHTEOUSNESS

Deceivableness of unrighteousness? This literally means that unrighteousness will deceive us into thinking it is righteousness!

Imagine this horror of a thought, that we will be doing unrighteousness and not knowing it is bringing us to our damnation!

So we have to figure out what is unrighteousness according to the Bible. This now will let us know that all Christians (including the Seventh Day Adventists who say they keep the 10 commandments) are in a delusion.

Look, let’s easily prove it…

1Jn 5:17  All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.

 

All unrighteousness is sin, but we then have to figure out what is sin!

1Jn 3:4  Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

 

Sin is transgression of the law!!!

 

So anyone who breaks the law sins.

7 While eating, Yahusha said, “No man of himself can know right from
wrong. For what is right in one man’s eyes may be wrong in another’s, therefore strife arises among them. Only when men accept a single standard of judgment and abide by it can there be peace. When men live together without the light of the Torah, they are like a house built with unmortared bricks, or like men trying to tow a boat but all pulling in
different directions.

8 “There are two laws the law of men and the Torah of the Father who is in Heaven. When I speak of the Torah, I do not mean the law of men. I am the Light illuminating Yahuah’s Torah so men see it more clearly, and though I fulfill the Torah, I do not change it. Never say ‘this is right’ or ‘that is wrong,’ but only ‘this is right or wrong according to the Torah, and in the Light of Yahusha.’”

 

Anyone therefore, who says the law is done away with and ignores the law, must sin, as he will not know what is right or what is wrong. Why? The law shows us what sin is:

Rom_3:20  Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

Rom_7:7  What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

So disobeying the law, we sin and are in unrighteousness.

 

But that is not where sin stops. There is something else that is sin:

Rom_14:23  And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

 

Whatsoever is not of faith is sin. But where does faith come in?

Heb 11:6  But without emunah (faith) it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to Aluah must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

 

It is impossible to please our Father without faith. But what faith is important to him?

Eph 2:7  That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through HaMashiach Yahusha.
Eph 2:8  For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of Aluah:

The faith that is important to the Father is our belief in his son Yahusha HaMashiach. It follows that we must follow his son to avoid being in strong delusion.

Let’s get proof…

Joh_17:3  And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true Aluah, and Yahusha HaMashiach, whom thou hast sent.

Joh_20:31  But these are written, that ye might believe that Yahusha is HaMashiach, the Son of Aluah; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

Rom_3:22  Even the righteousness of Aluah which is by faith of Yahusha HaMashiach unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

 

That is what Yahusha means in Books Of The Natsarim 7:8 above when he says:

“Never say ‘this is right’ or ‘that is wrong,’ but only ‘this is right or wrong according to the Torah, and in the Light of Yahusha.”

 

So right away we see that if we are not following his son, nor obeying his Torah (law), then we will be left exposed to be deceived into thinking our unrighteousness is actually righteousness.

The Burden Of Yahusha (Are You On The True Path To Salvation?)

 

DECEIVABLENESS OF UNRIGHTEOUSNESS & DECEITFULNESS OF SIN

To expound more on strong delusion meaning, we have to look at one of the main causes of us getting a strong delusion.

So we go back to 2 Thessalonians, where Sha’ul (Paul) tells us about the deceivableness of unrighteousness. But in Hebrews 3:13, it tells us about the deceitfulness of sin.what’s the difference?

We see in the table below they are one and the same. It is just another way of saying the same thing.

 

Now in Hebrews 3:13, it tells us what happens to us when we are in the deceivableness of unrighteousness (deceitfulness of sin).

Heb 3:13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

 

See that?!

We are HARDENED by this deception/deceit!

Now what does hardened mean as used there?

From G4642; to indurate, that is, (figuratively) render stubborn: – harden.

 

So to be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin (deceivableness of unrighteousness) means to be made stubborn through deception (thinking our unrighteousness is righteousness).

That word stubborn is going to play a big role going forward. Stay with us for more wisdom, knowledge and understanding of strong delusion.

 

THE REAL DANGER OF THIS HARDNESS/STUBBORNNESS?

Straightaway, if we take it a step further by going to Romans 2, we will see that the stubbornness that comes from the deceitfulness of sin (deceivableness of unrighteousness) unfortunately results in our damnation!

[4]Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of Aluah leadeth thee to repentance?

[5]But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of Aluah;

 

See what our hardness and impenitent (unrepentant) heart does? It is storing up wrath for us. Yet again, if we look at the meaning of the word “hardness” as used here, we see it means the same thing: stubbornness.

So now it is getting interesting; let’s continue in Romans 2:

[6]Who will render to every man according to his deeds:

[7]To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

[8]But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,

[9]Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;

[10]But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:

[11]For there is no respect of persons with Aluah.

 

So those who are stubborn, who obey unrighteousness, will incur indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish! Do you want to be caught up in that?

I told you, you need to fully understand strong delusion!

 

HOW STUBBORNNESS PREVENTS US FROM BEING THE END TIME SONS OF OF ALUAH

If that is not enough, let us look at it from another angle. Let’s see how stubbornness prevents us from our ultimate life’s goal, which is to be the sons of Aluah.

Now this here below is the goal of all of us reading this post: to be the sons of Aluah.

1Jn_3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of Aluah, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

 

Joh 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of Aluah, even to them that believe on his name:

Joh 1:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of Aluah.

 

Rom 8:12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.

Rom 8:13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

Rom 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of Aluah, they are the sons of Aluah.

 

IF WE ARE STUBBORN AND REBELLIOUS, WE CANNOT BE HIS SONS!

So we read those verses and say yes, we are the sons of Aluah.

But look here…not so fast!

Look what we have in Deuteronomy 21.

If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son that will not change, that son is to be killed!

That is Torah, so for us, it is the same thing spiritually if we are found to be stubborn and rebellious.

Deu 21:18 If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, which will not obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and that, when they have chastened him, will not hearken unto them:

Deu 21:19 Then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him out unto the elders of his city, and unto the gate of his place;

Deu 21:20 And they shall say unto the elders of his city, This our son is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton, and a drunkard.
Deu 21:21 And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die: so shalt thou put evil away from among you; and all Israel shall hear, and fear.

 

So if we as humans have a stubborn and rebellious son that refuses to change and have to give them up to die, how will the Most High allow us who are stubborn and rebellious to enter his kingdom?

For more clarity, let us look at the meaning of “rebellious” as used in Deuteronomy 21:18.

An unusual word stands out in that explanation, and that is “refractory.”

Meaning Of Refractory:
stubborn or unmanageable
resistant to a process or stimulus.

See that? Everything goes back to stubbornness! This is very significant as we encounter it almost everyday, people not willing to hear the word, people willing to stay in ignorance not having love for the truth.

People seeking to stay comfortable in their religion. Those too, who are too proud and self-righteous to be corrected?

They are stubborn and rebellious.

Significantly then, we MUST prove all things, hold fast that which is good (1 Thess 5:21)!

Stubbornness And Rebellion: Deuteronomy 21

 

 

THE DANGER OF STUBBORNNESS AND REBELLION (THE ACCOUNT OF SAUL)

Now let us get the manifestation of this rejection of the stubborn and rebellious through the account of Sha’ul (Saul). Let’s begin with the most memorable statement made by Shamu’al (Samuel).

1Sa 15:22 And Samuel said, Hath YAHUAH as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of YAHUAH? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.

1Sa 15:23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of YAHUAH, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

 

Again, we have to highlight the word “rebellion.”

A very significant word there is the word “bitter” which appears three times in the meaning of rebellion above:

  1. bitterness
  2. concretely bitter
  3. bitter

But what is the significance of this?

 

Significantly, it implies that Sha’ul was bitter toward the Most High for not allowing him access to the spoils!

Hence sadly, he could or better yet, WOULD NOT obey Aluah’s instructions.

What is that saying for us today? We have to ensure that no form of bitterness (rebellion) springs up among us.

Heb 12:15  Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of Aluah; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;

 

You see, any root of bitterness defiles many!

Why?

Bitterness is led, not by Ruach HaQadosh (the Holy Spirit), but by the angel of wickedness also known as the angel of iniquity, also known as the prince of error or Beliar, aka Satan. I will now explain.

 

THE ANGEL OF WICKEDNESS/INIQUITY

Have you ever wondered why in making any decision that could lead you to sin, you have two “voices” speaking to you. To better express this, have you ever been angry and one voice is telling you to satisfy your anger by doing this or that, while another is telling you not to do it because of the consequences that may result?

We all need to know that these “voices” are the two angels that are with man:

  1. The angel of righteousness and
  2. The angel of wickedness/iniquity

Now lest you think I am making this up, let’s hear it from the Shepherd of Hermas, a book you may download here for free from this our website.

 

Shepherd of Hermas page 38, chapter 36

1 “Now hear,” he said, “about faith. There are two angels with a person, one of righteousness and one of wickedness.”

2 “So how, sir,” I said, “will I recognize their workings, given that both angels live with me?”

3 “Listen,” he said, “and you will understand them. The angel of righteousness is sensitive and modest and gentle and tranquil. When this one enters your heart, immediately he talks with you about righteousness, about purity, about holiness, about contentment, about every righteous deed, and about every glorious virtue. Whenever all these things enter your heart, you know that the angel of righteousness is with you. These, then, are the works of the angel of righteousness. So trust him and his works.

4 Now observe the works of the angel of wickedness. First of all, he is ill-tempered and bitter and senseless, and his works are evil, tearing down Aluah’s servants. So whenever this one enters your heart, recognize him by his works.”

5 “But I do not know, sir,” I said, “how to recognize him.” “Listen,” he said. “When some angry temperamental
outburst or bitterness comes over you, recognize that he is in you.

Then comes the desire for much business, and extravagant kinds of food and drink, and much drunkenness, and various kinds of unnecessary luxuries, and the desire for women, and greed and arrogance and pretentiousness, and whatever else resembles or is similar to these things. So whenever these things enter your heart, you know that the angel of wickedness is with you.

6 Recognizing, therefore, his works, shun him and do not trust him at all, because his works are evil and harmful to Aluah’’s servants. You now have, then, the working of both angels; understand them and trust the angel of righteousness.

7 But shun the angel of wickedness, because his teaching is evil in every respect. For if there should be an extremely faithful man, and the thought of that angel should enter his heart, that man—or woman—must inevitably commit some sin.

8 On the other hand, if there should be an extremely sinful man or woman, and the works of the angel of righteousness should enter his or her heart, of necessity that person must do something good.

9 You see, then,” he said, “that it is good to follow the angel of righteousness but shun the angel of wickedness.

10 This commandment explains the things about faith, in order that you may trust the works of the angel of righteousness, and that doing them, you may live to Aluah. But believe that the works of the angel of wickedness are dangerous, so that by not doing them you will live to Aluah.”

 

So what we are saying is that King Sha’ul (Saul) had allowed the angel of wickedness/iniquity to lead him.

Now for us? Think about how many times that voice has led us to sin?

But now we know about this, let’s see what the consequences can be.

 

YAHUAH REJECTS SHA’UL (SAUL)

YAHUAH Rejects Sha'ul (Saul)

But here is the biblical excerpt from 1 Samuel 15 below. This is the KJV, but with the names restored.

1Sa 15:1 Shamu’al also said unto Sha’ul, YAHUAH sent me to anoint thee to be king over his people, over Yashar’al: now therefore hearken thou unto the voice of the words of YAHUAH.
1Sa 15:2 Thus saith YAHUAH of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Yashar’al, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt.

1Sa 15:3 Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.
1Sa 15:4 And Sha’ul gathered the people together, and numbered them in Telaim, two hundred thousand footmen, and ten thousand men of Yahudah.

1Sa 15:5 And Sha’ul came to a city of Amalek, and laid wait in the valley.

1Sa 15:19 Wherefore then didst thou not obey the voice of YAHUAH, but didst fly upon the spoil, and didst evil in the sight of YAHUAH?

1Sa 15:26 And Shamu’al said unto Sha’ul, I will not return with thee: for thou hast rejected the word of YAHUAH, and YAHUAH hath rejected thee from being king over Yashar’al.

1Sa 15:27 And as Shamu’al turned about to go away, he laid hold upon the skirt of his mantle, and it rent.
1Sa 15:28 And Shamu’al said unto him, YAHUAH hath rent the kingdom of Yashar’al from thee this day, and hath given it to a neighbour of thine, that is better than thou.

1Sa 15:29 And also the Strength of Yashar’al will not lie nor repent: for he is not a man, that he should repent.
1Sa 15:30 Then he said, I have sinned: yet honour me now, I pray thee, before the elders of my people, and before Yashar’al, and turn again with me, that I may worship YAHUAH thy Aluah.

1Sa 15:31 So Shamu’al turned again after Sha’ul; and Sha’ul worshipped YAHUAH.
1Sa 15:32 Then said Shamu’al, Bring ye hither to me Agag the king of the Amalekites. And Agag came unto him delicately. And Agag said, Surely the bitterness of death is past.

1Sa 15:33 And Shamu’al said, As thy sword hath made women childless, so shall thy mother be childless among women. And Shamu’al hewed Agag in pieces before YAHUAH in Gilgal.
1Sa 15:34 Then Shamu’al went to Ramah; and Sha’ul went up to his house to Gibeah of Sha’ul.

1Sa 15:35 And Shamu’al came no more to see Sha’ul until the day of his death: nevertheless Shamu’al mourned for Sha’ul: and YAHUAH repented that he had made Sha’ul king over Yashar’al.

 

The important point here is that the Most High rejected Sha’ul’s (Saul’s) repentance because of his stubbornness and rebellion (bitterness)!

 

REBELLION IS AS WITCHCRAFT?

Rebellion is as witchcraft. This topic is looked into in the video above, so I will not expound but share the verses that are included.

Exo 22:18 Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.

Wis 12:3 For it was thy will to destroy by the hands of our fathers both those old inhabitants of thy holy land,
Wis 12:4 Whom thou hatedst for doing most odious works of witchcrafts, and wicked sacrifices;

 

STUBBORNNESS AS INIQUITY?

Stubbornness as iniquity is also looked at in the video above. Here are the verses used to explain it.

Lev_5:17 And if a soul sin, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of YAHUAH; though he wist it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.

Exo_34:7 Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.

Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Master, Master, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

 

The bottomline? Rebellion (bitterness/disobedience) is treated as witchcraft before the Most High. The penalty for that is death. Stubbornness on the other hand, is treated like iniquity and idolatry.

The penalty for both (stubbornness and rebellion) are destruction before the Most High. Stubbornness and rebellion are the surest ways to let us be sent a strong delusion.

 

IF WE ARE STUBBORN AND DO NOT WANT TO HEAR, WE WILL BE SHUT OUT

Continuing on the strong delusion meaning, again below, we are given strong delusion if we are stubborn and do not want to hear his truth. We have closed our ears, eyes and heart.

Guess what?

We will not be able to understand.

Mat 13:10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
Mat 13:11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
Mat 13:12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.
Mat 13:13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
Mat 13:14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:
Mat 13:15 For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

 

But what’s the remedy for that? Desire his truth and do his commandments:

Psa 111:10  The fear of YAHUAH is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

 

Got it?

Thankful for us, YAHUAH is merciful.

 

YAHUAH SHALL SEND STRONG DELUSION KJV

So now we know that, we turn our attention to the question how are we given a strong delusion? To begin to answer that, we have to pay special attention to this word used in 2 Thessalonians 2:11.

The word is SEND.

2Th 2:11 And for this cause Aluah shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

The Most High will SEND a strong delusion.

But what does it mean to send?

To send means to dispatch. But who or what will he dispatch?

 

WHO CARRIES OUT THE STRONG DELUSION?

To answer this, a very relevant question is: who carries out the strong delusion. When we know this, we will see the importance of understanding the entire process!

So who will he SEND (dispatch)?

 

Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of Aluah came to present themselves before YAHUAH, and Satan came also among them.

 

1Ki 22:19 And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of YAHUAH: I saw YAHUAH sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.

1Ki 22:20 And YAHUAH said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner.

1Ki 22:21 And there came forth a spirit, and stood before YAHUAH, and said, I will persuade him.

1Ki 22:22 And YAHUAH said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so.

1Ki 22:23 Now therefore, behold, YAHUAH hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and YAHUAH hath spoken evil concerning thee.

 

As you can see, Satan came among the sons of Aluah! In 1 Kings 22, we see that an evil ruach volunteered to put a lying ruach in the mouth of the prophets. This is how the Most High sends strong delusion, and we are going to give more evidence that this is how we are given strong delusion.

Evil ruacoth (spirits) are allowed power to blind us so we are CERTAIN to be deceived. Just as how he gave Satan power over righteous Job, he will go a step further and give him power over us from which we cannot recover. What a scary thought!

 

THE PART PLAYED BY THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH & THE SPIRIT OF ERROR IN STRONG DELUSION

Now let us get more insights into a strong delusion meaning by going to the Testament Of The 12 Patriarchs and observe how we are given strong delusion. We will look at the operation of the spirit of truth and the spirit of error through Judah’s experience with sexual promiscuity and the love of money.

The bible does speak about this spirit of truth and spirit of error.

1Jn_4:6  We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

 

Regrettably, the bible does not go into the spirit of truth and the spirit of error directly in detail. Fortunately for us, the Testament Of The 12 Patriarchs gives us more detail about this. You may download it here from our website.

 

TESTAMENT OF JUDAH
18:2 Guard yourselves therefore, my children, against sexual promiscuity and love of money; (Exo 34:15-16; 1Tim 6:10).

18:3 Listen to Judah, your father, for these things distance you from the Law of Aluah, blind the direction of the soul, and teach arrogance. They do not permit a man to show mercy to his neighbor.

18:4 They deprive his soul of all goodness, and oppress him with hardships and grief, they take away sleep from him and utterly waste his flesh.

18:5 They impede the sacrifices to Aluah, he does not remember the blessings of Aluah, he does not obey the prophet when he speaks, and he is offended by a pious word.

18:6 For two passions contrary to Aluah’s commands enslave him, so that he is unable to obey Aluah; They blind his soul, and he goes about in the day as though it were night.

19:1 My children, love of money leads to idolatry, because once they are led astray by money, they designate as gods those who are not gods. It makes anyone who has it go out of his mind. (1 Tim 6:5-10)

19:2 On account of money I utterly lost my children, and had it not been for the penitence of my flesh, the humility of my soul, and the prayers of my father, Jacob, I would have met death childless.

19:3 But the Aluah of my fathers, who is compassionate and merciful, pardoned me because I acted in ignorance.

19:4 The prince of error blinded me, and I was ignorant – as a human being, as flesh, in my corrupt sins – until I learned of my own weakness after supposing myself to be invincible.

20:1 So understand, my children, that two spirits await an opportunity with humanity: the spirit of truth and the spirit of error (these are the angel of righteousness and the angel of wickedness from Shepherd of Hermas above).

20:2 In between is the conscience of the mind which inclines as it will.

20:3 The things of truth and the things of error are written in the affections of man, each one of whom the Lord knows.

20:4 There is no moment in which man’s works can be concealed, because they are written on the heart in the Lord’s sight.

20:5 And the spirit of truth testifies to all things and brings all accusations. He who has sinned is consumed in his heart and cannot raise his head to face the judge.

 

As you can see, the spirit of truth and the spirit of error are contrary to each other and it is the conscience that determines which one we follow. That is why we must have a good conscience through Yahusha HaMashiach. This is the law written in our hearts (so we make the decisions on the side of truth).

Heb_9:14  How much more shall the blood of HaMashiach, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to Aluah, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living Aluah?

 

So, depending on our consciences, we can either be led into good works, or even into strong delusion if our consciences are corrupted.

2Ti 3:8  Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
2Ti 3:9  But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.

 

So this type is reprobate concerning the faith. What does reprobate mean?

Reprobates are:

  1. Unapproved
  2. Rejected (twice given in the meaning)
  3. Worthless
  4. Castaway

Hence if one is unapproved, rejected, worthless, castaway, one will be in strong delusion, believing a lie!

 

SPIRIT OF BELIAR HAS NO POWER OVER THE RIGHTEOUS MAN

However, give thanks that we have no reason to fear if we hunger and thirst after righteousness. You see, as long as a man is walking in holiness (piousness), the spirit of Beliar/Satan has no power over him.

Testament Of Benjamin
5:4 For if anyone wantonly attacks a pious man, he repents, since the pious man shows mercy to the one who abused him, and maintains silence. And if anyone betrays a righteous man, the righteous man prays. Even though for a brief time he may be humbled, later he will appear far more illustrious, as happened with Joseph, my brother.

6:1 The deliberations of the good man are not in the control of the deceitful spirit, Beliar/Satan, for the angel of peace guides his life.

 

Hence, as long as we are walking in true righteousness (the righteousness by faith in Yahusha HaMashiach that makes us abide in him, walking as he walked in the fruit of the Ruach – Gal 5:22-24), then Satan cannot blind us and cannot have us under strong delusion.

This is what James means here:

Jas_4:7  Submit yourselves therefore to Aluah. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

 

THE SURE WAY TO AVOID STRONG DELUSION: FOLLOW YAHUSHA & THE TORAH (THE TRUTH)

Now as I said the only way to avoid strong delusion is through following Yahusha HaMashiach.

Unfortunately, many will say they follow him (but do not)!

Therefore, I will have to be a little more specific in showing the sure way to avoid delusion through Yahusha HaMashiach.

Let this register: we cannot truly walk in the righteousness of Yahusha unless we are walking in the light of the Torah (the law). This is a slap in the face of those who believe the law is to be thrown away or ripped apart.

You see, Yahusha did not come to show us how to walk in lawlessness. In other words? He did not come to let us deny the truth, because the law is the truth…

Psa 119:142 Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.
Joh 14:6 Yahusha saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

The Torah is the truth and HaMashiach is the truth. How can Yahusha (the truth) come telling us to reject the truth (the law)?

 

THE MAGNIFICATION OF THE LAW

In reality? He came to magnify the law so we can walk out the law in the spirit…

Isa 42:21  YAHUAH is well pleased for his righteousness’ sake; he will magnify the law, and make it honourable.

Meaning of magnify?

As you can see, it has nothing to do with removing or shrinking, but rather with expansion!

To magnify means to enlarge, to add to, not to subtract, which is how we can have this…

20 One of the Parashiym who was nearby said to Yahusha, “We understand your meaning, but where do you stand in relation to the Torah? Have you come to take it away or declare it obsolete?”

21 Yahusha replied, “No one patches an old cloak with new fabric, for this shows up its age without strengthening it. Likewise, no sensible person puts new wine into old wineskins, for this causes them to split, the wine pouring out so neither the wine nor the wineskins have any value. Is it not much wiser to put new wine into new wineskins? I have come to place something beside thatwhich is already there, to hold a mirror to the Torah and to man, so both may be seen with greater clarity.”

 

THE LOVE OF YAHUSHA SHOWS US HOW TO WALK OUT TORAH TO AVOID STRONG DELUSION

In effect, he came to show us how to walk out the Torah. Proof from the Bible? Let’s look at his love.

Joh 15:9  As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.

Now what is his love we must continue in?

Joh 15:10  If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.

 

We must keep his commandments as well as his Father’s! More proof from the books of the Natsarim?

Books of The Natsarim Chapt 19
30 “I shall prepare a place for you in the Kingdom of Yahuah and wait there to welcome you. Where I will be, you shall be also; and where you are, there too I will be. You know the way to where I am going and can follow, for the Torah and the Books of Wisdom are the Way, the Truth and the Light. I have brought you a light to show the way; follow it and you will not go astray.”

 

In the verse above, he tells us two things:

  1. Torah and the Books of Wisdom are the Way, the Truth and the Light.
  2. He has brought you a light to show the way (John 8:12)

 

That is the double combination right there!

Obey Torah and follow Yahusha.

Is this contrary to the Bible? Nope…

Rev 14:12  Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of Aluah (OBEY TORAH), and the faith of Yahusha (FOLLOW YAHUSHA).

 

Want to see it again? Obey the law (Torah) and follow Yahusha. I told you Christians (who reject the law) are in a strong delusion).

7 While eating, Yahusha said, “No man of himself can know right from wrong. For what is right in one man’s eyes may be wrong in another’s, therefore strife arises among them. Only when men accept a single standard of judgment and abide by it can there be peace. When men live together without the light of the Torah, they are like a house built with unmortared bricks, or like men trying to tow a boat but all pulling in different directions.”

8 “There are two laws – the law of men and the Torah of the Father who is in Heaven. When I speak of the Torah, I do not mean the law of men. I am the Light illuminating Yahuah’s Torah so men see it more clearly, and though I fulfill the Torah, I do not change it. Never say ‘this is right or ‘that is wrong,’ but only ‘this is right or wrong according to the Torah, and in the Light of Yahusha.’”

9 “I bring new oil for the lamp of the Torah, for that within it is now impure, and the light produces too much obscuring smoke. For I am the Son of Man and bear the sufferings of men, coming to fulfill their hopes even as it has been foretold. Is it not said among the Jesseneth that the Son of Man is the perfected man who will set the standard for those who wish to be true sons of Aluah?”

Yahusha came to shed a light upon Torah so we can see it more clearly so we can obey it. This is what was prophesied here:

Eze 11:19  And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:
Eze 11:20  That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their Aluah.

 

Again? Here he tells us he works with the Torah, not against it.

24 Yahusha answered,
“Did I not say this one only slept? There is a time appointed for dying, and the ruachoth of men keep their appointments. I work with the torah of life, not against it.

 

Remember: he came to magnify the law, not diminish it!

34 “He that is near me is close to a blazing fire and may get burned, but he who withdraws from the heat withdraws from Heaven. Some have said, ‘The yoke of the Torah sits heavy on our shoulders,’ but I tell you,
I come not to lighten but to magnify the responsibility. Mosheh brought
the Torah which says not to kill, but I say, any who releases anger on his brother without just cause shall not escape judgment.”

 

So if you say the law is done away or no longer valid?

You are under STRONG DELUSION!

 

You therefore need to know what it means to walk in the Spirit of the law. Just maybe there is a slim chance to get out of that delusion. See videos below that should help you to understand.

CAUSES OF STRONG DELUSION

But we cannot fully understand the strong delusion meaning without looking at different causes of strong delusion. Note that there are different circumstances that pose a high risk of getting us blinded in deception.

Sadly, when blinded, we will be unable to see out of the darkness, as we would believe the darkness to be light (deceivableness of unrighteousness).

Of course sinners (and rebellious believers) will forever be in blindness as long as they remain in sin, as the only source of light (Yahusha HaMashiach) is not shining through unto them.

Joh_8:12  Then spake Yahusha again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

 

…and Satan is able to use them at his will:

2Ti 2:25  In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if Aluah peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
2Ti 2:26  And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

 

So the sinner and the rebellious will never have the light.

But this post is dedicated to the believer who of course, does not want to go all the way. Remember, it is in our nature to seek after the easy path. That is what gets us into some form of delusion.

Yahusha said, “Many will flock to my cause, but few will be chosen to serve; many will follow my way, but turn aside at the obstacles. For if any man believes but fails to put his belief into practice, it will be profitless to him. If anyone take one part of my teachings, shunning the sterner and more inconvenient, the rest will serve no purpose. For it is in the nature of men to accept the easy path and turn aside from the harder one. But there is something in each which tells him this is wrong. Everyone has a spark within which, fanned by the wind of dedication, will kindle the flame of glory.”

 

SEDITION

Now the first cause of strong delusion that we look at is called sedition. It is a word highly misunderstood but all too common among believers. Hence we will give the meaning below.

Sedition is when believers actually rebel against the authority/leadership of the assembly in which they are gathered.

Looking through physical eyes (and not the spiritual), they cannot see that the leaders of the assembly were placed there to guide them into truth, through the Ruach that leads the leaders (John 16:13)

Now here is the bottom-line. We have to first figure out if we are being misled by our leaders, or if we are not being led into truth, or if the leaders are false prophets and teachers. If any of this happens in an assembly, what are we to do?

Rebel?

No. Leave.

But why?

 

TOUCH NOT ALUAH’S ANOINTED

Touch not Aluah’s anointed. You see, he has appointed leaders for good and for evil. Everyone has their calling. But to rebel even against a bad leader will incur YAHUAH’S wrath. Look at this principle:

Rom 13:1  Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of Aluah: the powers that be are ordained of Aluah.
Rom 13:2  Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of Aluah: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.

 

Hence when the children of Yasharal went down to Babylon? They were given this stern instruction!

Bar 2:21  Thus saith the YAHUAH, Bow down your shoulders to serve the king of Babylon: so shall ye remain in the land that I gave unto your fathers.
Bar 2:22  But if ye will not hear the voice of YAHUAH, to serve the king of Babylon,
Bar 2:23  I will cause to cease out of the cites of Judah, and from without Jerusalem, the voice of mirth, and the voice of joy, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride: and the whole land shall be desolate of inhabitants.

 

They were told to serve Babylon and its wicked ruler Nebuchadnezzar. In fact, YAHUAH called Nebuchadnezzar his servant!

Jer_27:6  And now have I given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant; and the beasts of the field have I given him also to serve him.

 

What’s more, in the extended version of Daniel 3 (also called The Prayer of Azariah), Azariah called Nebuchadnezzar the most wicked king in the world!

 

Daniel (3:32) And thou didst deliver us into the hands of lawless enemies, most hateful forsakers of God, and to an unjust king, and the most wicked in all the world.

Yet the Most High called this most wicked king in all the world his servant, and told his people to serve him!

 

SEDITION AND STRONG DELUSION

So as foolish believers, we think we are doing the Most High’s work by rebelling against our leaders. Big mistake!

RELIGION AND STRONG DELUSION

Closely related to sedition is religion. Most people today seek out a religion to make them feel justified that they are serving the Most High, instead of seeking out the way, the truth and the life (John 14:6).

Religions give us a set of routines that men tell us to observe to be righteous. However, true righteousness (as I have said before) is through only one source: following Yahusha HaMashiach in obedience to the Torah.

 

However, following HaMashiach is the hardest thing a man can do.

Let him tell us himself:

Books Of The Natsarim Chapter 15:
26 Yahusha said, “It is sad that so many desire to become disciples without weighing the cost of discipleship. To follow me as a disciple means renouncing all home comforts, and this is not something to be lightly undertaken. Many have responsibilities which cannot be cast onto the shoulders of others. So, to those who follow me as disciples, burden is added to burden. Apart from privations and discomforts, disciples are subject to the mockery and scorn of men, and unforeseeable suffering may be in store for them. Those who follow me, taking up my cause but not as disciples, double the burden of their stake.

 

See that?!

So guess what?

Who wants to give up all and suffer, receive mocking, scorn, privations and discomforts?

Who wants to suffer rejection by family and friends?

Or wants to be carrying a burden daily?

Very few.

In reality, scarcely anyone is willing to do that, so many choose religion. Even followers of the way will use the law unrighteously: to justify themselves, interpreting it to suit themselves.

Books Of The Natsarim Chapter 7
36 Yahusha became angry and was hurt in his heart, for their hardheartedness and wrongful interpretation of the Torah were indications of their spiritual apathy. So, he healed the man’s arm. The selfrighteous see no wrong in themselves, only in others. And they interpret all things to accord with their own convenience.

 

So we gravitate to different religions seeking a comfort zone. Even if we find the truth and the truth seems too hard, we will either go elsewhere where the word is more pleasant, or take counsel together with other like-minded believers and let’s see what will happen then.

 

STRONG DELUSION BELIEVE A LIE: WALKING IN THEIR OWN COUNSELS

When believers refuse to hear the truth and decide to come together in rebellion against the truth, the Most High will send strong delusion. This powerful delusion will make them believe whatever counsel they take together!

This is something I have seen over and over. People who were once spiritually enlightened, now blinded and not being able to be reached because they took counsel together.

Suddenly, what they speak about became so convincing to them, that they cannot see the real truth.

When you give them the truth they will even mock and scorn, blinded in their own counsels.

2Th 2:11 And for this cause Aluah shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

 

And a reminder of what “for this cause” represents?

2Th 2:10  And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

2Th 2:11  And for this cause Aluah shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

1. deceivableness of unrighteousness
2. they received not the love of the truth that they might be saved

 

Here it is manifested in the verse below.

In brackets, I will place the deceivableness of unrighteousness and received not the love of the truth so we can see it in action in the Isaiah 66 prophecy.

Isa 66:4 I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear (RECEIVED NOT THE LOVE OF THE TRUTH): but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not (DECEIVABLENESS OF UNRIGHTEOUSNESS).

 

If we are in the deceivableness of unrighteousness and will not love the truth, then guess what? When we come together to take counsel?

He will make whatever we discuss seem to be the truth. This then (almost inevitably) leads to other sins such as emulation, variance and sedition.

Psa 81:11 But my people would not hearken to my voice; and Israel would none of me.
Psa 81:12 So I gave them up unto their own hearts’ lust: and they walked in their own counsels.

 

A reminder? Gave them up to who?

Satan/Beliar.

And for more insghts, let’s look at the meanings of the words “lust” and “counsels.”

Meaning Of Obstinate
stubbornly adhering to an opinion, purpose, or course in spite of reason, arguments, or persuasion

Again we see that word stubborn!

They will stubbornly hold fast to their counsels despite being shown the truth, in spite of reason, arguments or persuasion. This is STRONG DELUSION that they believe a lie.

 

COUNSEL

Now let’s look at the word counsel.

Meaning Of Counsel
– advice given especially as a result of consultation

 

walk in their own counsels

This is the consultation they take either with people of the same mind or persons they have lured to follow their counsels, because of their stubbornness (and rebellion), like King Saul!

2Ti 3:5  Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
2Ti 3:6  For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
2Ti 3:7  Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Ever learning, but given a strong delusion so they cannot come to the knowledge of the truth! Rejected just like how King Saul was rejected!

 

THE STUBBORN AND REBELLIOUS ARE HATERS OF ALUAH!

Now very significantly, and alarmingly, Psalm 81:15 tells us that these people HATE the Most High!

Imagine that?

Psa 81:13 Oh that my people had hearkened unto me, and Israel had walked in my ways!
Psa 81:14 I should soon have subdued their enemies, and turned my hand against their adversaries.
Psa 81:15 The haters of YAHUAH should have submitted themselves unto him: but their time should have endured for ever.

Because they are running from his truth, he sees this as rebellion and lack of submission. Hence he sees it that we hate him because we do not want to obey him.

So how do you think he feels about those who reject his law?

Think carefully about it if you reject his law.

Anyway.

Haters of YAHUAH? This what these verses immediately below mean.

Loving him means obeying him. Disobeying means we hate him. The opposite of love is hate:

Joh 14:15  If ye love me, keep my commandments.
1Jn_5:3  For this is the love of Aluah, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

 

CAUSES OF STRONG DELUSIONS? SELF-DECEPTION, SELF-RIGHTEOUSNESS, SELF-CENTEREDNESS, HYPOCRISY, SELF-JUSTIFICATION

I will not have much to say on this one, but I will just let Yahusha HaMashiach the king of Yasharal (Psa 2:6), our brother (Rom 8:29), tell us about how these impact us and leads us to strong delusion.

Interestingly, the following describes strong delusion: “like blind men trying to sort black pebbles from white and had no more success.

Chapter 15:30-33, p.145
30 Among the crowd were many self-righteous people and hypocrites – self-deceivers who, interpreting the Torah to suit their convenience, saw no wrong in themselves, who, setting themselves up as judges, were like blind men trying to sort black pebbles from white, and had no more success.

They said to Yahusha, “You choose the wrong types. If you chose differently, we would follow; but sand does not mix with honey.”

31 Yahusha said, “Let me tell you a parable. Two men went into the Temple to pray – one being a self-righteous man and self-deceiver, the other a man aware of his failings and shortcomings.

The self-righteous man prayed in this manner: ‘I praise my Elohim for many blessings, giving thanks that I am not like the majority of men – avaricious, deceitful, dishonest, and adulterous.

I fast twice weekly, pay all my subscriptions, and attend every Temple gathering.’ The self-righteous man had a specially reserved seat, so the other was standing apart. And he prayed differently, saying, ‘My Aluah, do not desert me. I have many failings and need strengthening so I may overcome them and be a better man.’”

32 Yahusha said, “I assure you of this: The man who benefited from his prayer was the second one, not the first. This was because, though the first man had many virtues, he was unable to recognize his failings.

The second man was reconciled with Aluah, while the other was not. He who prays must be as one looking into a mirror – not with the expectation of seeing a gratifying reflection, but seeking an image revealing his faults.”

33 “If a man put tinted glass before his eyes to enhance his image, thus putting out things he does not wish to see, he is not only a self-deceiver but a fool unto himself.

The charioteer does not overhaul his chariot to seek the strong points, but to discover the flaws; and if he did not put these right, he would risk his life.”

 

Here below he tells us: “they cannot see themselves for what they are and have many ways of justifying themselves.”

What is that?

Strong delusion.

They cannot see and have many ways of justifying themselves. Hence, no matter how you try to help them, they will block you, thinking they are already justified.

Blinded in strong delusion

Chapter 18:13-16, p.167
13 Yahusha also told other parables, and when the self-righteous ones and false Parashiym realized that most were directed against them, they considered ways to silence him. But as he was popular with the people, they decided it would be better to leave him alone.

14 Yahusha taught that the greatest enemies of man and the greatest opposition to the coming Rule of Elohim were not the obvious evildoers and criminals, but the hypocrites, self-deceivers and self-centered. Those are the true enemies of men – the festering evil in their midst. Yet, they cannot see themselves for what they are and have many ways of justifying themselves.

15 For Yahusha said of those, “They sit before well-filled tables, condemning the crimes of those who are hungry. They sleep on soft beds and wallow in worldly luxuries, but their hearts are closed, and their faces hardened towards those who steal and even murder. Yet I tell you, their own thoughts conceive and engender much greater wrongs. Neither are those who associate with them free from guilt.”

16 Going to an open space beyond the Great Temple, Yahusha addressed those who believed in his cause, saying, “Abiding by the things I have taught you will bring knowledge of Truth, and Truth will set you free.

 

It is the truth then that will set us free from ourselves and our pitiful enslavement to self. More on that soon.

 

CAUSES OF STRONG DELUSION: ANGER AND LIES

So now we will share a few more little-known ways we believers can make the Most High give us over to a strong delusion. The first is the inseparable combination of anger and lies. The opposite of that (the love of the truth and forbearance) insulates us from the possibility of strong delusion.

2:1 And now, my children, I am dying, and I say to you in truth that if you do not guard yourselves against the spirit of falsehood and anger, and love truth and forbearance, you will perish.

2:2 There is blindness in anger, my children, and there is no angry person who can per-ceive the face of truth.

2:3 For even if one is his father or mother, he treats them as Enemies; if it is a brother, he does not recognize him; if it is a prophet of the Lord, he misunderstands; if it is a just man, he is unaware of him; if a friend, he ignores him.

2:4 For the spirit of anger ensnares him in the nets of deceit, blinds his eyes literally, darkens his understanding by means of a lie, and provides him with its own peculiar perspective.

2:5 By what means does it ensnare the vision? By hatred in the heart, it gives him a pe-culiar disposition to envy his brother.

3:1 Anger is evil, my children, for it becomes the motivation force of the soul itself.

3:2 That force has strange effects on the body of the angry man; it dominates his soul, and provides the body with a peculiar power so that it can accomplish every lawless act.

3:3 When the soul acts, it justifies whatever is done since it lacks discernment.

3:4 So then whoever is angry, if he is a powerful person, has triple strength by reason of his anger: First through the power and support of his subordinates; second through his wealth, by which he can win by persuasive acts and triumph in injustice; third, he has the natural force of his own body, and through it he accomplishes evil.

3:5 But if the angry one is a weak person, his strength is twice that of nature, for anger always supports such a person in their transgression.

3:6 This spirit always moves with falsehood at the right hand of Satan, in order that such deeds may be done through savagery and deception.

4:1 Understand, then, the power of anger, that it is senseless.

4:2 First, it arouses by spoken word; then by actions it gives strength to the one who is aroused, by sharp losses it perturbs his mind, and thus arouses his soul with great anger.

4:3 When anyone speaks against you, do not be moved to anger; and if anyone praises you as being kind, do not be elated, nor be carried away, neither by pleasure nor by shame.

4:4 First it is pleasant to hear and thus it sharpens the mind to be sensitive to some provocation; and then when anyone is aroused by anger, it makes him suppose his self-esteem is justified.

4:5 If you suffer a loss, if you undergo the destruction of anything, do not become alarmed, my children, because this spirit makes one desire what is transitory in order that he might be made angry over what he is missing.

4:6 If you lose something, by your own action or otherwise, do not be sorrowful, for grief arouses anger as well as deceit.

4:7 Anger and falsehood together are a double-edged evil, and work together to per-turb the reason. And when the soul is continually perturbed, YAHUAH withdraws from it and Beliar/Satan rules it.

5:1 Observe YAHUAH’S commandments, then, my children, and keep his Law. Avoid wrath, and hate lying, in order that the Lord may dwell among you, and Beliar/Satan may flee from you. (Test. of Sim 3:5)

5:2 Each of you speak truth clearly to his neighbor, and do not fall into pleasure and troublemaking, but be at peace, holding to the Aluah of peace. Thus no conflict will overwhelm you.

5:3 Throughout all your life love the Lord, and one another with a true heart.

The following line is very profound: “There is blindness in anger, my children, and there is no angry person who can perceive the face of truth.”

Every angry person will be blinded from the truth.

In other words?

Given a strong delusion.

You see, the anger, if not controlled, takes us into numerous places of darkness, blinding us to the truth.

If we continue in anger, Ruach HaQadosh will leave us and Satan will have free reign to dominate our souls: STRONG DELUSION!

Look at 4:7…

4.7 Anger and falsehood together are a double-edged evil, and work together to per-turb the reason. And when the soul is continually perturbed, YAHUAH withdraws from it and Beliar/Satan rules it.

Here is a teaching below that we did on liars. Remember, we are given strong delusion to believe a lie and lies is the opposite of the truth. Why is this important?

It is the truth that keeps us from strong delusion (2 Thess 2:11). Hence the video below is very important.

CAUSES OF STRONG DELUSION: HATRED

And yet another little-recognized cause of strong delusion is hatred.

Closely related to anger, it also blinds the soul. And the more we remain in hatred, the more we will sin against Aluah.

3:1 And now children, listen to the words of truth: to perform justice and every law of the Most High; not to be led astray by the spirit of hatred because it is evil beyond all human deeds.

3:2 Whatever anyone does, he who hates is revolted; if he fears/reverences YAHUAH and hopes for good things, the hater has no love for him.

3:3 The hater disparages truth, envies the successful person, relishes slander, loves arrogance, because hatred blinds his soul. It was in this way that I regarded Joseph.

4:1 Beware, my children, of those who hate, because it leads to lawlessness against YAHUAH himself.

4:2 Hatred does not want to hear repeated his commands concerning love of neighbor, and thus it sins against Aluah.

4:3 For if a brother makes a false step, immediately it wants to spread the tale to every-one, and is eager to have him condemned for it, punished, and executed.

4:4 If the hater is a slave, he conspires against his master, and whenever difficulty arises it plots how he might be killed.

4:5 Hatred collaborates with envy, when it sees or hears about the prosperity of those who do well, it is perpetually peevish.

4:6 Just as love wants to bring the dead back to life and to recall those under sentence of death, so hate wants to kill the living and does not wish to preserve alive those who have committed the slightest sin.

4:7 For among all men the spirit of hatred works by Satan through human frailty for the death of mankind; but the spirit of love works by the Law of Aluah through forbear-ance for the salvation of mankind.

5:1 Hatred is evil, since it continually consorts with lying, speaking against the truth; it makes small things big,  turns light into darkness, says that the sweet is bitter, teaches slander, conflict, violence, and all manner of greed; it fills the heart with diabolical venom.

5:2 I tell you this, my children, from experience, so that you might escape hatred and cling to love of YAHUAH.

5:3 Righteousness expels hatred; humility kills envy. For the person who is just and humble is ashamed to commit an injustice, not because someone else will pass judgment on him but out of his own heart, because the Lord considers his inner deliberations.

5:4 He will not denounce a fellow man, since fear/reverence of the Most High over-comes hatred.

5:5 Being concerned not to arouse YAHUAH’s anger, he is completely unwilling to wrong anyone, even in his thoughts.

5:6 I understood this at the last, after I had repented concerning Joseph,

5:7 For according to Aluah’s truth, repentance destroys disobedience, puts darkness to flight, illumines the vision, furnishes knowledge for the soul, and guides the deliberative powers to salvation.

5:8 What it has not learned from human agency, it understands through repentance.

5:9 For Aluah brought on me a disease of the liver, and if it had not been for the prayers of Jacob, my father, he would shortly have summoned from me my spirit.

5:10 For by whatever human capacity anyone transgresses, by that he is also chastised.

5:11 Since my anger was merciless in opposition to Joseph, through this anger of mine I suffered mercilessly, and was brought under judgment for eleven months, as long as I had had it in for Joseph, until he was sold.

6:1 Now, my children, each of you love his brother. Drive hatred out of your hearts. Love one another in deed and word and inward thoughts.

6:2 For when I stood before my father I would speak peaceable about Joseph, but when I went out, the spirit of hatred darkened my mind and aroused my soul to kill him.

6:3 Love one another from the heart, therefore, and if anyone sins against you, speak to him in peace. Expel the venom of hatred, and do not harbor deceit in your heart. If anyone confesses and repents, forgive him.

6:4 If anyone denies his guilt, do not be contentious with him, otherwise he may start cursing, and you would be sinning doubly.

6:5 In a dispute do not let an outsider hear your secrets, since out of hatred for you he may become your enemy, and commit a great sin against you. He may talk to you frequently but treacherously, or be much concerned with you, but for an evil end, having absorbed from you the venom.

6:6 Even if he denies it and acts disgracefully out of a sense of guilt, be quiet and do not become upset. For he who denies will repent, and avoid offending you again; in-deed he will honor you, will respect you and be at peace.

6:7 But even if he is devoid of shame and persists in his wickedness, forgive him from the heart and leave vengeance to Aluah. (ch 7:5)

7:1 If anyone prospers more than you, do not be aggrieved, but pray for him that he may prosper completely, for this is what is precisely to your advantage.

7:2 And if he becomes even more exalted, do not be envious, but remember that all humanity dies. Offer praise to the Lord who provides good and beneficial things for all mankind.

7:3 Search out the Lord’s judgments, and thus you shall gain an inheritance and your mind will be at rest.

CAUSES OF STRONG DELUSION: DOUBLE-MINDEDNESS

Continuing…in the book of James, it tells us that a double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Jas_1:8  A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Little do most of us know how powerful double-mindedness is. Here it is below behind the word “unstable.”

2Pe_3:16  As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

From G1 (as a negative particle) and a presumed derivation of G4741; unfixed, that is, (figuratively) vacillating: – unstable.

Being two-faced is being unfixed: hypocritical, trying to walk in evil and good at the same time, taking some words that we can accept, and rejecting the hard ones.

This is yet another sure way to blindness, being enslaved to their evil spirits, doing what is pleasing to Satan, thinking they are on the right path.

 

good evilThis is the lot of the religious that we looked at: justifying ourselves that doing “XYZ” and still partaking of the lust of the eye, pride of life and lust of the flesh of this world will still enable us to attain unto eternal life.

 

For some it is going to “church,” or keeping Sabbath or paying tithes and offerings, or keeping the letter of the law or many other things.

Oh how many of us have forgotten this!

1Jn 2:15  Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
1Jn 2:16  For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
1Jn 2:17  And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of Aluah abideth for ever.

 

Of course, this basic requirement below is what most of us fail to do:

Mat 16:24  Then said Yahusha unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his stake, and follow me.

Until we can deny self, and accept a single standard of judgment, we will be double-minded (two-faced), and hence liable to be caught in strong delusion.

While eating, Yahusha said, “No man of himself can know right from wrong. For what is right in one man’s eyes may be wrong in another’s, therefore strife arises among them. Only when men accept a single standard of judgment and abide by it can there be peace. When men live together without the light of the Torah, they are like a house built with unmortared bricks, or like men trying to tow a boat but all pulling in different directions.”

Only when men accept a single standard of judgment and abide by it can there be peace!

3:1 But you, my children, do not be two-faced like them, one good and the other evil; rather, cling only to goodness, because in it YAHUAH Aluah is at rest, and men aspire to it.

3:2 Flee from the evil tendency, destroying the devil by your good works. For those who are two-faced are not of Aluah, but they are enslaved to their evil spirits, so that they might be pleasing to Beliar/Satan and to persons like themselves. (James 1:8).

4:1 For persons who are good, who are single-minded – even though they are considered by the two-faced to be sinners – are righteous before Aluah.

 

 

STRONG DELUSION FOR ALL MEN: FOR CHANGING THE TRUTH INTO A LIE

In the book of Romans, it pronounces dire consequences for sinners, for persons who do several things against the Most High. Romans 1 tells us plainly that almost everyone who does not seek after Aluah’s righteousness and truth will be given strong delusion.

In this one, all idolaters are condemned. All false worshipers, all lovers of pleasure will be given over to strong delusion.

Take a look at this:

Rom 1:18  For the wrath of Aluah is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

Rom 1:19  Because that which may be known of Aluah is manifest in them; for Aluah hath shewed it unto them.

Rom 1:20  For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Sovereignity; so that they are without excuse:

Rom 1:21  Because that, when they knew Aluah, they glorified him not as Aluah, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Rom 1:22  Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

Rom 1:23  And changed the splendor of the uncorruptible Aluah into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

Rom 1:24  Wherefore Aluah also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

Rom 1:25  Who changed the truth of Aluah into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. So be it.

Rom 1:26  For this cause Aluah gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

Rom 1:27  And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

Rom 1:28  And even as they did not like to retain Aluah in their knowledge, Aluah gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Rom 1:29  Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

Rom 1:30  Backbiters, haters of Aluah, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

Rom 1:31  Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

Rom 1:32  Who knowing the judgment of Aluah, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

 

As you can see, Romans 1 seems to omit no one! It is all-inclusive for everyone who transgresses against the Most High.

What it is saying is that we do not even need to hear the word.

Why?

What needs to be known of Aluah is manifest in us; because Aluah hath shewed it unto us through his creation. This means we do not even need the Bible for us to even realize the Most High is real so we start seeking him.

Therefore, none of us is without excuse.

That is why the world is so corrupted, under a strong delusion chasing one sin after another, going deeper and deeper into destruction: blinded by the Most High because our hearts rejected him and instead, chose a lie.

 

ALL THE CAUSES OF STRONG DELUSION WORK TOGETHER

Now please note that all the causes of strong delusion work together. For example, if you are angry, you can easily move into hatred. If you are two-faced, you can easily move into hypocrisy, self-righteousness, self-centeredness and so on.

That is why we have to walk in perfection, as with our sinful nature at work (Romans 7), one sin leads to another.

 

 

AVOIDING A STRONG DELUSION: REPENT AND CHOOSE THE GOOD, REJECT THE EVIL

But as they say, every dark cloud has a silver lining, and there is hope for us who are in delusion, but of course, very little hope for those who are in strong delusion.

Now what is the first step out of delusion?

Repentance.

That is why we must be born again, and to be born again, the instruction in Acts 2:38 begins with the words “Repent and be baptized.”

 

And here is the effect of repentance:

So whatever blindness we are under, repentance takes us out and sets us on the path to salvation!

 

But before repentance, we have to decide to choose the good. It is this decision to choose to do what is right that leads us to repentance. Here below it tells us of the impact of this choice.

1:4 Accordingly, everything is in pairs, the one over against the other.

1:5 The two ways are good and evil; concerning them are two dispositions within our breasts that choose between them.

1:6 If the soul wants to follow the good way, all of its deeds are done in righteousness and every sin is immediately repented.

1:7 Contemplating just deeds and rejecting wickedness, the soul overcomes evil and uproots sin.

1:8 But if the mind is disposed toward evil, all of its deeds are wicked; driving out the good, it accepts the evil and is overmastered by Beliar/Satan, who,

1:9 Even when good is undertaken, presses the struggle so as to make the aim of his action into evil, since the devil’s storehouse is filled with the vermin of the evil spirit.

 

AVOIDING STRONG DELUSION: REVERENCE (FEAR) ALUAH AND LOVE THY NEIGHBOR

And to top it all? How do we ensure that we cannot be under a strong delusion?

We MUST FEAR ALUAH and love our neighbours as ourselves.

Testament Of Benjamin
3:1 Now, my children, love the Lord God of heaven and earth; keep his commandments; pattern your life after the good and pious man Joseph. (Exo 20:1-17)

3:2 Let your thoughts incline to the good, as you know to be so with me, because he who has the right set of mind sees everything rightly.

3:3 Reverence the Lord and love your neighbor. Even if the spirits of Beliar/Satan seek to derange you with all sorts of wicked oppression, they will not dominate you, any more than they dominated Joseph, my brother.

3:4 How many men wanted to destroy him, and God looked out for him! For the person who fears/reverences God and loves his neighbor cannot be plagued by the spirit of Beliar/Satan since he is sheltered by the fear/reverence of God. (Matt 22:35-40)

3:5 Neither man’s schemes nor those of animals can prevail over him, for he is aided in living by this: by the love which he has toward his neighbor.

3:6 Joseph also urged our father to pray for his brothers, that the Lord would not hold them accountable for their sin which they so wickedly committed against him.
(Lk 23:34)

If we do this, we cannot go wrong. Satan would have to flee from us (James 4:7), not being able to blind us.

 

CAN I RECOVER FROM STRONG DELUSION?

Now here comes the big, super duper question.

Can I recover from strong delusion?

First and foremost, a strong delusion has been given so we believe a lie so we can be damned. But have those of us who fall into strong delusion yet been damned?

First, what is this damnation? Isn’t it judgment for our disobedience, stubbornness, rebellion, self-righteousness and so on?

Yes.

But the big question is, has that judgment yet been executed?

No.

So what happens before judgment is executed?

 

MERCY TRIUMPHS OVER JUDGMENT

This verse in James will begin the answer to our previous question.

Jas 2:13  For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.

 

Mercy rejoiceth AGAINST judgment! That means mercy will rescue us from judgment.

Hence, whenever the Most High pronounces judgment, there is still a small chance that we can access his mercy.

That is why in the book of Jonah, this transpired:

Jon_3:4  And Jonah began to enter into the city a day’s journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown.

 

What happened before the forty days?

Jon 3:5  So the people of Nineveh believed Aluah, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them.

The people repented.

And what happened afterward?

Jon 3:10  And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and Aluah repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.

Mercy triumphed over judgment! It is no less so for those who are under strong delusion.

1 Again Favor (Grace) ran and forsook corruption, and came down in Him to bring it to nought;

2 And He destroyed perdition from before Him, and devastated all its order;

3 And He stood on a lofty summit and uttered His voice from one end of the earth to the other:

4 And drew to Him all those who obeyed Him; and there did not appear as it were an evil person

5 But there stood a perfect virgin who was proclaiming and calling and saying,

6 O ye sons of men, return ye, and ye daughters of men, come ye:

7 And forsake the ways of that corruption and draw near unto me, and I will enter into you, and will bring you forth from perdition,

No what does perdition mean?

From a presumed derivative of G622; ruin or loss (physical, spiritual or eternal): – damnable (-nation), destruction, die, perdition, X perish, pernicious ways, waste.

 

As you can see, perdition actually means damnation. But what does this damnation have to do with strong delusion?

2Th 2:11  And for this cause Aluah shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2Th 2:12  That they all might be damned (DAMNATION/PERDITION) who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

 

In Odes of Solomon 33, Solomon is telling us what actually happened to him.

He was under strong delusion worshipping false gods and he was rescued by wisdom, who is the virgin in verse 5!

It is the same description of her (Wisdom) crying out here in the book of Proverbs (also written by Solomon)…

Pro 1:20  Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets:
Pro 1:21  She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying,
Pro 1:22  How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?

 

So let us continue in Odes of Solomon 33 for more insights.

8 And make you wise in the ways of truth: that you be not destroyed nor perish:

9 Hear ye me and be redeemed. For the grace of Aluah I am telling among you: and by my means you shall be redeemed and become blessed.

10 I am your judge; and they who have put me on shall not be injured: but they shall possess the new world that is incorrupt:

11 My chosen ones walk in me, and my ways I will make known to them that seek me, and I will make them trust in my name. Hallelujah

 

So wisdom rescues us from damnation by making us wise in the ways of truth! Wise in the ways of truth?

Where does truth come into this?

 

TRUTH SAVES US (THEY RECEIVED NOT THE LOVE OF THE TRUTH THAT THEY MIGHT BE SAVED)

So how do we fully escape this delusion? How do we avoid strong delusion?

Answer?

Love truth, seek it and walk in it.

Hence, all of these verses below tell us the value of the truth in making us avoid strong delusion.

1Pe_1:22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:

Joh 4:24 Aluah is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Psa 15:1 A Psalm of David. YAHUAH, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?
Psa 15:2 He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.

Isa 26:1 In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Judah; We have a strong city; salvation will Aluah appoint for walls and bulwarks.
Isa 26:2 Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in.

Rev_21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
Rev 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Joh 8:31 Then said Yahusha to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
Joh 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

 

Got it?

It’s all about loving, seeking and walking in TRUTH!

 

 

LISTEN TO THOSE WHO TRY TO REACH YOU!

Guess what? When you are under a delusion, you will not know that you are deceived. So how do I ensure that I am not deceived?

One final test begins with proving all things:

1Th 5:21  Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

But what standard are you going to prove all things against?

You see, when one is in a delusion, one will lean on his own understanding believing in his own counsels. Whomever you confer with and whatever you want to believe will look like the truth, even if it is a lie.

In fact, Aluah said he will CHOOSE their delusions, which means he will choose the lie that you will believe to be true with all your heart, mind and soul!

Hence the solution?

Listen to others who are trying to speak to you.

man-listen_640You yourself have to ensure that your eyes have not been blinded.

2Co 4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

2Co 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of HaMashiach, who is the image of Aluah, should shine unto them.

Satan has blinded the minds of many so they cannot see the truth. Don’t let that be you as a result of your self confidence and stubbornness.

 

Who knows? You may just have been taken captive by the devil.

2Ti 2:23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.
2Ti 2:24 And the servant of YAHUAH must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,

2Ti 2:25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
2Ti 2:26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

Listen to the servants of Aluah who are patiently trying to reach you. Then prove all they are telling you.

 

 

CONCLUSION: STRONG DELUSION MEANING

So I hope this breakdown of the strong delusion meaning has helped you to understand how we can be deceived, blinded thinking we see, while the Most High himself has ensured that we cannot see.

It is very, very scary to think that the Aluah we love and worship will reject us and blind us so we can be damned, because we refuse to listen to him and remain in stubbornness and rebellion.

Let that not be named among us. Let us walk in YAHUAH’S righteousness, loving truth, fearing him and loving our neighbours as ourselves, and at the same time following his son unto eternal life.

  1. The “strong delusion” 2 thess 2:11 is COVID. Also called “falling away” in 2 thess 2, and “daily sacrifice” in Daniel. The “noisome grievous sore” Rev 16:2 is the MASK.

    It started the 1290,, 1335 & 2300 day counts of Daniel.

    The 1st Resurrection is around September 2023 and the 2nd Death (Judgement) is late 2026 or early 2027.
