Who Is This For?
This post is for those who are seeking to find out if they have been deceived into following a false messiah according to Matthew 24:4-5 and Matthew 24:24.
It is also best for those just coming into faith so they can know the true Messiah before they fall into deception.
For others who believe they follow the biblical Messiah, it could be confirmed that they are on the right path and are walking in accordance with the way (John 14:6).
This article goes into detail to biblically establish the one true Messiah of the Bible and to highlight ways in which most of us have been deceived into following false messiahs.
Who Is a False Messiah?
The first thing to clarify is, who is a false messiah?
False Messiah Does Not Conform To Prophecy
Well, a false messiah is one who does not fully conform to the Messiah that was prophesied in the Bible (whose manifested life was chronicled in the new testament good news/gospels).
The necessity for this article is based on the following warning which was given by the Messiah himself:
Mat 24:24 For there shall arise false Messiahs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
So right there it tells us the false messiahs shall be very convincing. Great signs and wonders shall be done in their name(s). This shall deceive many who believe the great signs and wonders are sure signs of a real Messiah.
The first lesson for us, therefore, is that great and miraculous signs and wonders are no sure indicators that we are following the true Messiah.
The true Messiah was prophesied as being a signal or an ensign or banner or flag for the people.
Isa 11:10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign (banner/flag) of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.
False Messiahs will, therefore, be false banners behind which people will line up and herald the false messiahs.
Now we know that people defend banners or flags in the natural world regardless of whether the banner is right or wrong. It is no different in the spiritual world.
I have ministered to several persons who will tell you that they know that I am speaking the truth, yet they continue ignoring the truth. They still attend the same assembly and still praising and worshipping the same false messiah.
They refuse to come from behind the false banner. Other followers of the false messiahs will stoutly defend their messiah regardless of how much biblical evidence is presented.
Spiritually, these false banners are false doctrines and traditions of men which we have looked at and will continue to look at in extensive detail on Just a Word.
So in summarising verses used so far, we have 2 characteristics of a false messiah:
- Great signs and wonders will follow their names.
- They will be presented behind false banners and some followers will even defend the false banners/doctrines/traditions regardless of truth.
YHWH will let us believe a lie if we refuse to believe the truth
Now the response of many will be to say things like “I know who I worship,” or “I have a personal relationship with Jesus,” or “I worship Jesus Christ the son of God,” or I do not worship a false Christ!” or “I am led by the Holy Spirit” or some other reason to remain in a comfort zone.
However, we must bear in mind that the Most High will let us believe a lie if we refuse to believe the truth! This is something most Christians simply do not understand.
You see, many of us have a one-dimensional view of the Most High. It is in the best interest of organised religion to present the marketable side of the Father.
Therefore, religion only teaches us to view him as a loving, merciful, gracious Elohiym. We either reject or forget the other sides of him that hold us accountable for our actions. We keep believing that “‘God’ will understand.”

When We Are Made To Believe A Lie (Proof from Scripture)
The following scriptures will show a different side of him that has not changed. Now Apostle Sha’ul (Paul) told us that ALL scripture (old testament) was written for us to learn even in our new covenant:
2 Tim 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of YHWH, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
Related Post: Why Our Belief Is False If It Does Not Have An Old Testament Foundation
So the following scriptures were given to us for doctrine, for reproof, for correction and for instruction in righteousness. We must remember this side of him:
Isa 66:4 I also will choose their delusions (vexations/beliefs that are not true), and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.
If he keeps giving us his word and we reject it, he will choose the lies that we believe. That is what Isaiah 66:4 is saying! Read it carefully for yourself.
Again, if we don’t listen to him and instead follow lies, he will let us believe whatever we want to, even though he does not delight in it…
Psa 81:11 – 12 But my people would not hearken to my voice; and Israel would none of me. So I gave them up unto their own hearts’ lust: and they walked in their own counsels.
Also, if we crave more than he provides for us and in so doing rebel against his word, then he will give us what will harm us.
He gave us his one true Hebrew Messiah, if we want another Messiah, then he will give us what we want to ‘choke’ us. Look!…
Num 11:19 – 20 Ye shall not eat one day, nor two days, nor five days, neither ten days, nor twenty days; But even a whole month, until it come out at your nostrils, and it be loathsome unto you: because that ye have despised YHWH which is among you, and have wept before him, saying, Why came we forth out of Egypt?
If we do not want to obey his laws, his sabbaths and walk in HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, then we will be given a false messiah to cause us to walk in error.
Bear in mind that there is a messiah for that today, who has a banner that says: the law is done away with! No need to keep the sabbaths, those were for Israel…that was the old testament. Look!…
Eze 20:24 – 25 Because they had not executed my judgments, but had despised my statutes, and had polluted my sabbaths, and their eyes were after their fathers’ idols. Wherefore I gave them also statutes that were not good, and judgments whereby they should not live;
Now the following verse 26 is very revealing and shows us what is happening to those following false messiahs:
Eze 20:26 And I polluted them in their own gifts (offerings), in that they caused to pass through the fire all that openeth the womb, that I might make them desolate, to the end that they might know that I am YHWH.
Look at that. In the new covenant, our gifts are our offerings, our sacrifices of praise, our worship. He will cause our gift/praise/worship/belief to be polluted so that we be moved to even more sin because we refuse to walk in obedience to HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS (verses 24-25).
This matches the following verse in Matthew 15…
Mat 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Does he change? Is there a new Elohiym in the New Testament? Is the Elohiym of the old testament now changed because it is now a time of mercy and grace as some say? He does not change:
Mal 3:6 For I am YHWH, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
Now here is the confirmation that he has NOT changed in the new covenant/testament. This is from our new covenant spoken by Apostle Sha’ul. This sums up ALL we just said:
2Th 2:9 – 12 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause YHWH shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
That’s it! That is why we must search diligently and ensure we are following the ONE TRUE MESSIAH of the Bible! If we refuse to believe the truth, we will be made to believe a lie! YHWH himself will let us believe a lie and make it look like the truth.
You may, therefore, be cursing me, reviling me (sinning against YHWH) for this post, not knowing that you are blinded by the Father himself because you refuse to:
1 Th 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
Almost All of us are Following a False Messiah?
So wake up! It is no surprise then if I tell you that almost all of us are following a false Messiah. The very thing that the Messiah warned us about in Mattityahu 24:4 is happening to most of us and we don’t seem to care.
Mat 24:4 – 5 And Yahusha answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am the Messiah; and shall deceive many.
This is a very powerful warning. The Messiah declared these important points in the 2 sentences of Matthew 24:4-5:
- Beware that no one deceives you.
- Many shall come in the name of the Messiah.
- They will say they are the Messiah (they will stand behind false banners – Isa 11:10).
- Many shall be deceived (tricked).
It is therefore extremely vital and of the utmost importance that we examine our Messiah against the Messiah of the Bible to see if we are following the one true Messiah.
You owe it to yourself to continue reading this post.
Deliberate Attempt to Deceive Us
According to Matthew 24:4-5, there will be a deliberate attempt to trick us into following a false Messiah (of which there will be many).
The horrifying truth is that this deception will work, as the Messiah also prophesied that many of us would be deceived.
You would think then that those of us who say we are believers would frantically examine our Messiah “under a microscope” to make sure we are following the true Messiah.
However, it seems the opposite is true. Not many seem to care. Most of us just follow any teaching that the church we attend follows. We are truly blind being led by the blind.
Mat 15:14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
A typical example of this “church-based” apathy is when I left the Pentecostal Church. I was told several times that it was an error because whatever church I attend, that is where “God” sent me and I should stay there forever.
No one seemed to care that I left on doctrinal issues. No one else seemed interested in proving all things and holding fast to that which is good (1 Thess 5:21). It was all about “the church.”

There Shall Be Many False Messiahs
If we look at it technically, with over 40,000 Christian denominations worldwide with many differing doctrines, each assembly likely follows differing Messiahs. They stand behind differing banners/doctrines.
If we leave and go to another assembly, they may follow another Messiah according to the differing doctrine of the other assembly.
Which one is right? How do I know that the Messiah that my assembly follows is the one right Messiah? Why am I not searching to find if I have the one true Messiah?!
Many shall say they are the Messiah and deceive many.
What About The Jesus Christ of Christianity?
Do I follow the true Messiah of the Bible? That is what we should all be searching to find out.
So this article will search to see if the very popular “Jesus Christ” given to us by varying denominations of Christianity is the one true Messiah. We will try the spirits.
1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of YHWH: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
The Importance of Finding the True Messiah
We cannot abide in a false messiah. We must follow the truth and find the true Messiah if we want to be disciples of the true Messiah.
Joh 8:31 – 32 Then said Yahusha to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
How can we continue in his word and be his disciples if we are following a false Messiah? So please, be liberated by this post that seeks to reveal: the true Messiah of the Bible.
How To Find the True Messiah
Let us begin our quest to find THE ONE TRUE MESSIAH chronicled in the Holy Bible.
There is one sure way to find the true Messiah and reject the false messiah, which is through prophecy fulfilment.
The Bible is one book, one continuous story that most Christians cannot seem to understand. This is because most take the new testament independently of the “old testament” (to varying degrees).
Big mistake.
The new testament is the fulfilment of the old testament. Throwing out the old testament is like taking away the foundation of a house and still expecting it to be standing perfectly without a foundation.
Both the old and the new testaments work cohesively to reveal YAHUAH’S plan of salvation.

The Messiah That Was Promised to Us In the Old Testament
What is called the old testament is the history of man from perfect man Adam to sinful Adam to the point of the Most High choosing a people for himself from the descendants of his righteous servant Abraham.
So we will pick up the history by starting at Abraham and take us quickly through to the Mashiach (Messiah).
Promise to Abraham
The promise began through Abraham:
Gen 12:7 And YAHUAH appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto YAHUAH, who appeared unto him.
Gen 35:11 And Elhoiym said unto him, I am El Shaddai: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins;
Gen 35:12 And the land which I gave Abraham and Isaac, to thee I will give it, and to thy seed after thee will I give the land.
Israel in Egyptian Bondage
These people, the descendants of the sons of Ya’aqov/Israel (who was the grandson of Abraham), were in bondage in Egypt as prophesied to Abraham:
Gen 15:13 And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;
Israel Freed
Then the Most High took them out with a mighty hand and a stretched out arm and took them to the promised land to fulfil Gen 35:12, which is the promise of Abraham and Isaac handed down to Ya’aqov (Israel). But before that inheritance:
Gen 15:14 And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.
And how were they brought out?
Deu 26:8 And YHWH brought us forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with great terribleness, and with signs, and with wonders:
Covenant at Sinai
Before he brought them into the promised land, he made a covenant with them at Sinai.
Exo 24:8 And Mosheh took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which YHWH hath made with you concerning all these words.
Israel Given Laws
As part of the covenant and before they sealed the covenant with the sprinkling of blood, Israel were given laws which they agreed to keep as their part of the covenant.
Exo 19:7 And Mosheh came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before their faces all these words which YHWH commanded him.
Exo 19:8 And all the people answered together, and said, All that YHWH hath spoken we will do. And Mosheh returned the words of the people unto YHWH.
Israel Transgressed
Over time Israel continued to flirt with idols and did all kinds of evil. Whenever they went too far, YHWH would give them over to be enslaved by their enemies as the ultimate punishment.
Jdg 2:14 And the anger of YHWH was hot against Israel, and he delivered them into the hands of spoilers that spoiled them, and he sold them into the hands of their enemies round about, so that they could not any longer stand before their enemies.
Israel Broke Up into Northern & Southern Kingdoms
The 12 tribes of Israel were united under Sha’ul (Saul), David and Solomon.
However, under Solomon’s son, Jeroboam, the united 12 tribes of Israel was split into the northern 10 tribes and the southern kingdom of Judah. Subsequently, Israel went way too far into idolatry and rejected YHWH.
1Ki 14:15 For YHWH shall smite Israel, as a reed is shaken in the water, and he shall root up Israel out of this good land, which he gave to their fathers, and shall scatter them beyond the river, because they have made their groves, provoking YHWH to anger.
1Ki 14:16 And he shall give Israel up because of the sins of Jeroboam, who did sin, and who made Israel to sin.
Israel Scattered
That forced YHWH to eventually scatter Israel one last time.
Eze 22:15 And I will scatter thee among the heathen, and disperse thee in the countries, and will consume thy filthiness out of thee.
Judah also Transgressed
The kingdom of Judah also “played” the harlot and was also eventually dispersed from the land.
Jer 3:8 And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.
1Ki 14:22 And Judah did evil in the sight of YHWH, and they provoked him to jealousy with their sins which they had committed, above all that their fathers had done.
Judah Dispersed
Judah was also dispersed in AD 70 as prophesied by the Messiah in Matthew 24:16, but first, in about AD 33, they were given the good news to take through all the world.
Mar 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Promises to Gather Israel & Judah
However, before he executed these judgments, YAHUAH promised that he will one day send a Messiah to gather and unite scattered Israel and the dispersed Judah into one kingdom and again give them the land of Israel.
Isa 11:10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.
Isa 11:12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.
Eze 34:13 And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country.
Prophecy Fulfillment as Stated by the Messiah
This is the Messiah of the Bible, a descendant of Abraham the Hebrew, from the lineage of the 12 tribes of Israel, a seed of Jesse, a descendant of King David, from the tribe of Yahudah. The fulfilment is revealed here in Matthew 15:24.
Mat 15:24 But he (Yahusha HaMashiach) answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
He was sent ONLY to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. The first flaw now shows up.
Christianity teaches that it is all about Christianity, that he will be coming back for Christians. Some SDA’s say he is coming back for them only. So say the Jehovah’s Witnesses, as do some Pentecostals. When since did the Messiah become religious?
That is the first sign of a false messiah.
Result? It’s All About Israel (It’s Not About Christianity)
DISCLAIMER: Whenever we refer to Israel in the new covenant/testament, we are not speaking of the country or a religion. We speak of a people made up of descendants of the scattered former northern tribes of Israel, the dispersed Judah as well as gentile strangers who add themselves to Israel (John 10:16).
All these are gathered (Mic 2:12) through Yahusha HaMashiach (Isa 11), the King of Israel and are only known to YHWH the Father (2 Tim 2:19, John 6:44), who will gather them through the Messiah on his return (Mat 25:31-46). These make up what the Bible calls “the Israel of YHWH” (Gal 6:16)
Prophecy and its fulfilment are not about Christians nor Christianity. On the contrary, the holy scriptures and the new testament are all about Israel. The Messiah told us so.
Gentiles are not the main focus, but whichever gentile comes into the fold will partake of the promises of the Israelites.
Eze 47:23 And it shall come to pass, that in what tribe the stranger (gentile) sojourneth, there shall ye give him his inheritance, saith YHWH Elohiym.
John 10:16 And other sheep I have (lost 10 tribes + gentiles), which are not of this fold (house of Judah): them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold (Israel of YHWH – Gal 6:16), and one shepherd (Yahusha, the King of Israel).
YAHUAH Speaks Before He Acts
Notice a trend in all this? YAHUAH first spoke of what he would do before he did it! This is very important but the religious view this loosely.
YHWH never does anything without first speaking it through the prophets!
Amo 3:7 Surely YHWH Elohiym will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
This is confirming what we said before, that if your messiah was not prophesied in the so-called “old testament,” he is a false messiah.
So it makes sense for us to continue the old testament prophecies of the Messiah by looking at the promise to gather Israel.
The Promises/Prophecies of the Gathering of Israel
The so-called “old” testament spoke extensively about gathering Israel and Judah back into one and that they will all live in the land of Israel.
In addition, he also spoke of adding the goyim/nations/heathen/gentiles to Israel.
This is the purpose of the Messiah, who will be king over the Israel of YAHUAH (Gal 6:16).
Jer 31:10
“Hear the word of YHWH, O nations, and declare it in the coastlands far away;say, ‘He who scattered Israel will gather him, and will keep him as a shepherd keeps his flock.’Mic 2:12
I will surely assemble all of you, O Jacob;I will gather the remnant of Israel; I will set them together like sheep in a fold, like a flock in its pasture, a noisy multitude of men.Ezk 11:17
Therefore say, ‘Thus says YHWH Elohiym: I will gather you from the peoples and assemble you out of the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.’Ezk 28:25
“Thus says YHWH Elohiym: When I gather the house of Israel from the peoples among whom they are scattered, and manifest my holiness in them in the sight of the nations, then they shall dwell in their own land that I gave to my servant Jacob.
Now how was it prophesied that YAHUAH will do this gathering?
Isa 11:10 — Isa 11:12
In that day the root of Jesse, who shall stand as a signal (ensign/banner/flag) for the peoples—of him shall the nations inquire, and his resting place shall be glorious. In that day YHWH will extend his hand yet a second time to recover the remnant that remains of his people, from Assyria, from Egypt, from Pathros, from Cush, from Elam, from Shinar, from Hamath, and from the coastlands of the sea.
He will raise a signal (ensign/banner/flag) for (1) the nations and will assemble (2) the banished of Israel, and gather (3) the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.
Again the gathering:
Jer 23:5 — Jer 23:8
“Behold, the days are coming, declares YHWH, when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch, and he shall reign as king and deal wisely, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land.In his days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely.
And this is the name by which he will be called: YHWH is our righteousness.’“Therefore, behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when they shall no longer say, ‘As YHWH lives who brought up the people of Israel out of the land of Egypt,’
but ‘As YHWH lives who brought up and led the offspring of the house of Israel out of the north country and out of all the countries where he had driven them.’ Then they shall dwell in their own land.”
The prophecy is for a man who is descended from David to one day gather Israel.
Prophecies of Messiah Focuses on Gathering Israel and Judah: Gentiles Get Secondary Mention
So we clearly see, that the prophecy of the Messiah was ALL about gathering/restoring Israel.
Gentiles (who most Christians will say they are) join themselves to Israel to partake of the promises.
Isa 56:3 Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to YHWH, speak, saying, YHWH hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.
Exo_ 2:49 One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.
Rom 11:19 – 21 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in. Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: For if YHWH spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
The Gathering of Gentiles In the New Covenant
John 10:16 And other sheep I have (lost 10 tribes + gentiles), which are not of this fold (house of Israel): them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold (house of Judah), and one shepherd (Yahusha).
So we see from John 10:16, that Gentiles are gathered into the fold of Israel, not into a Christian fold. It is all about Israel.
Sha’ul tells us how the Gentiles are gathered into Israel by using the illustration of in-grafting into an olive tree (Israel). Notice these 4 powerful words below: grafted in AMONG THEM. Not grafted in and standing independently!
Rom 11:17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in.
Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
For if Elohiym spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
So we see, Gentiles are brought into the Israel of YAHUAH, not the other way around: Israel is not brought into gentile Christianity.
Sha’ul gives us more detail of the work of the Messiah in bringing gentiles into Israel. Sha’ul calls it a mystery:
Eph 3:3 – 6 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,
Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Mashiach)
Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;
That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body (Israel of YAHUAH), and partakers of his promise in Mashiach by the gospel:
Again…
Eph 2:11 – 22 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
That at that time ye (Gentiles) were without the Messiah, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without YHWH in the world:
But now in HaMashiach Yahusha ye who sometimes were far off (Gentiles) are made nigh by the blood of Mashiach.
For he is our peace, who hath made both (Israel and former Gentiles) one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man (Israel of YHWH), so making peace;
And that he might reconcile both unto Elohiym in one body (Israel of YHWH) by the stake, having slain the enmity thereby:
And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.
For through him we both (Israel and former Gentiles) have access by one Spirit unto the Father.Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints (in the commonwealth of Israel or the Israel of YHWH), and of the household of Elohiym;
And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Yahusha HaMashiach himself being the chief corner stone;
In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Master (Israel of YHWH): In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of YHWH through the Spirit.
The New Testament Israel of YAHUAH
Isaiah 11:12
He will raise a signal (ensign/banner/flag)for the nations and will assemble the banished of Israel, and gather the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.
The promise for the gathering of Israel points to 3 specific groups:
- Israel
- Judah
- Gentiles (nations)
In our new covenant fulfilment, the Bible refers to the gathering into one fold. That fold is called the Israel of YAHUAH because it is a new qadosh (holy) Israel.
Gal 6:15 – 16 For in HaMashiach Yahusha neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of YHWH.
It is not only made up of bloodlines but of Gentiles who join themselves to YHWH. The common factor in uniting this Israel of YHWH into one fold (the Israel of YHWH) is the Messiah Yahusha.
The following verse cannot be used often enough because it covers it all in one sentence:
Joh 10:16 And other sheep I have (lost tribes + gentiles), which are not of this fold (house of Judah): them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold (Israel of YHWH), and one shepherd (Yahusha).
The Characteristics of the Prophesied Messiah
Now let us look at a summary of the prophecies of the gathering of Israel shown above which show us who the Messiah is prophesied to be and hence what he will do. They show that:
- He will be a root of Jesse (descendant of King David)
- He will gather scattered Israel
- He will gather scattered/dispersed Judah
- He will be a signal/banner for the nations/gentiles/heathen
- All will be brought back to the land of Israel
- He shall reign as king (on earth) in Israel
So we see, it is all about Israel. Now let us see if the new testament is any different.
Prophesy of the Messiah Yahusha as King of Israel Fulfilled at his Birth
First the prophecy:
Mic 5:2
But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.
Then the fulfilment:
Matthew 2:6
“‘And you, O Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for from you shall come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel.’”
There was no prophecy nor fulfilment that the Messiah will shepherd no other people but Israel! There was no prophecy of a Christian, Jewish, Islamic, Buddhist, Hindu or other religious messiahs. The prophecy is for ISRAEL. We will look at the implications of that soon.
Prophecy of the Messiah Yahusha Being Sent For Israel Fulfilled in his Life
Mat 15:22 — Mat 15:28
And behold, a Canaanite woman from that region came out and was crying, “Have mercy on me, O Master, Son of David; my daughter is severely oppressed by a demon.”But he did not answer her a word. And his disciples came and begged him, saying, “Send her away, for she is crying out after us.”
He answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”
But she came and knelt before him, saying, “Master, help me.”
And he answered, “It is not right to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.”
She said, “Yes, Master, yet even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters’ table.”
Then Yahusha answered her, “O woman, great is your faith! Be it done for you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed instantly.
The preceding encounter shows the fulfilment of the prophecy of the Messiah in his life. Most importantly in verse 24, he explicitly stated that he only came for the lost sheep of the house of Israel. the woman was a Canaanite, which means she was a Gentile.
Important to note that through her faith, she was granted grace (by grace are you saved through faith) and partook of the blessings of Israel!
This was a foretaste of what would come to the Gentiles after his death and resurrection. It is all about Israel.
Prophesy of the Messiah Yahusha as King of the Yahudiy (Jews)Fulfilled in his Death
Mar 15:2 And Pilate asked him, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answering said unto him, Thou sayest it.
With that statement, Yahusha HaMashiach confirmed that he was indeed the prophesied king of the Yahudiy, the Mashiach. After that, through his death, he went on to fulfil this prophecy.
Isa 53:4 – 12 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of Elohiym, and afflicted.
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and YHWH hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
Yet it pleased YHWH to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of YHWH shall prosper in his hand.
He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
Prophesied Messiah is King of Israel
So the prophesied Messiah is the king of Israel. He is not a Christian Messiah or King: that is a false Greco-Roman concept. He is Israel’s Messiah.
So we will now look at how salvation comes to the world through the king of Israel, not through a Christian Messiah, but through Israel’s Messiah.
Salvation for the Whole World Through the Hebrew Messiah
Even though the Messiah is the Messiah of Israel (in the flesh), through the Father’s favours (grace), he has made his salvation available to the entire world (John 3:16-18) through the Spirit.
This is why he left the earth so as to make a second coming. He left his way (John 14:6) and told his disciples to preach the gospel of the kingdom to all nations. The time of the gentiles must be fulfilled (Rom 11:25).
Mar 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Then the end would come and he will return.
Mat 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
Mat 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Upon his return, the good news would have been spread throughout the entire world.
What Happened in History? The Capturing of the Good News by the Romans: Religion Replaces the Way
Now, what happened along the way? Why are we being taught doctrines of false messiahs who reject Israel? Where did the Christian messiahs come from?
You have to go back to church history and how the false church came about. The Romans ruled Judah at the time of the Messiah and beyond and killed and chased away their bitter enemies, the Yahudiy (Jews) who were left in the land. This was the dispersion of Yahudah.
Before that, Sha’ul brought the faith to the Romans who did not embrace it wholeheartedly at the time. In fact, Sha’ul was beheaded by the Roman Emperor Nero.
In the early 4th century, a Roman Emperor called Constantine embraced the faith of the Hebrews but oversaw the overlaying with pagan customs, traditions and beliefs.
Disclaimer: I am not a racist. References to a parfticular race in this article are merely relating historical facts.
The religion was painted white, in order to further the never-ending goal of a white world domination. He was an emperor and emperors build empires.
They painted the Messiah as a blonde hair, blue-eyed white man, fooling the world into thinking the Messiah was a Roman looking white man.
Christianity was hence used in conquest. The Messiah was presented as “God in the flesh” and the world was whitewashed, believing “God” to be white, therefore portraying the white race as the superior race.
By also forming church councils over the centuries, these white European church fathers dictated what the world was to believe. Anyone who did not follow their decisions was persecuted. Many millions were killed trying to stand against their directives/lies.
As part of their brainwashing, they refused to have anything to do with Israel. They rejected anything that made the Jews different…including what the true Messiah looked like (even though it is of no importance spiritually).
They also rejected their feasts, diet and Sabbaths.
In effect, they threw out the biblical tradition of the Yahudiy (Jews) and replaced them with their own traditions and holidays.
In the process, they also changed the worship day to Sun-day. This was in honour of the pagan day of worship which was in honour of the sun god that went by various names, including Ba’al, Jupiter and Zeus.
This they did to the faith of the hapless Hebrews who were either persecuted or had to assimilate into the false Roman Catholic “church.”
Hence we have the rejection of Leviticus 11 and Leviticus 23 in Christianity today.
In fact, many Christians go as far as to reject the entire old testament. “We must not have anything in common with the Jews” has been carried on throughout the centuries. There is nothing new under the sun.
So when we refer to the feasts, Sabbath, or diet we hear unlearned Christians telling us, “that was for Israel,” or “that is done away with.”
They follow the deceiver in rejecting the true faith of the 1st-century believers and instead, they accept the lies given to them by the pagan led Greco-Roman world.
This is the triumph of the Roman Catholics, who have succeeded in turning the world against the truth of YHWH and now the world defends the lies of the false religion called Christianity.
In effect, religion has replaced the way (John 14:6).

From that time until this day, the false Christian faith has been led by Europeans from its base in the Vatican in Rome. The Euro-centric Messiah not only took on a false heritage (European), but he also stood behind false banners surrounded by false doctrines.
The True Messiah & The Law vs The False Messiah
Apart from prophecy, there is nothing that shows a false messiah more than what that Messiah said about the law. A messiah that says the law is done away with is a false messiah! Why? The true messiah of the Bible said:
Mat 5:17 – 18 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
The Prophet Yirmeyahua prophesied:
Jer 31:31 – 33 Behold, the days come, saith YHWH, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah (notice the covenant is with Israel and Yahudah):
Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith YHWH:
But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith YHWH, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their Elohiym, and they shall be my people.
The prophet Yeshayahu said:
Isa_42:21 The LORD is well pleased for his righteousness’ sake; he will magnify the law (not do away with the law), and make it honourable.
The Magnified Law
And that is what the Messiah did. He magnified the law.
For example, the blood of bulls and goats was used to atone for sins in the old covenant. Now with his one sacrifice, the blood of Messiah covers all sins, no more need for any other sacrifice. That is the magnified law of sacrifice.
The unlearned say the sacrificial system is done away with.
The true Messiah obeyed the laws and told us to do the same. We are also expected to walk as he walked, in obedience to his Father’s commands.
The “law done away with” Messiah is, therefore, a false messiah.
Does Your Messiah Expect Worship?
Do you worship your Messiah? There is no prophecy that the Messiah would be the Most High.
Instead, the prophecy was for a man to come from the lineage of David.
The Shema tells us that the Father is one.
Deu 6:4 Hear, O Israel: YHWH our Elohiym is one YHWH:
The Messiah told us that we should only worship the Father and serve him ONLY.
Mat 4:10 Then saith Yahusha unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship YHWH thy Elohiym, and him only shalt thou serve.
In fact, we did a whole series entitled: “Should We Worship the Messiah?”
If your Messiah calls for worship, then he is a false Messiah. He is under a false banner.
“One God” Pentecostals beware. Your “Jesus only” false doctrine, worshipping the son as the Father, is not only plain error (functionally removing the Messiah as the mediator) but also heresy and apostasy.
You have been grossly deceived.
The Messiah is a man with the Spirit of the Father without measure (John 3:34). That does not make him the Father. He is the mediator between us and YHWH:
1 Tim 2:5 For there is one Elohiym (God), and one mediator between Elohiym (God) and men, the man HaMashiach Yahusha;
No Christian Gate In The Kingdom
To seal off this teaching and show without a doubt that it is all about Israel, let us look at entry into the kingdom of YAHUAH/heaven/the Messiah.
The gate is the point of entry. How are we preaching a Christian Messiah when there are no Christian points of entry into the kingdom? There are no Christian gates. It is all about Israel:
Rev 21:12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
Gentiles enter through the tribe in which they sojourn, which is through Yahudah, as the Messiah is from the tribe of Yahudah.
Eze 47:23 And it shall come to pass, that in what tribe the stranger sojourneth, there shall ye give him his inheritance, saith YHWH Elohiym.
It is all about Israel of YHWH. How can we enter if we reject Israel, and follow a false Greco-Roman messiah? Along with this false messiah comes the lies of the Christian religion. These lies lead to unrighteousness and unholiness.
10 Characteristics of the True Messiah
Finally, I would like to highlight the fact that most of us follow a false Messiah by sharing a video I made showing 10 characteristics of the true Messiah.
Oh, I also previously posted 10 Teachings of the biblical Messiah that easily reveal false Messiahs and false teachers.
Are you following the one true Messiah?
After reading all that, we should be able to answer the question, “am I following the one true Messiah of the bible or am I among the many who are being deceived into following a false Messiah?“
Here at Just a Word, we strive to follow the true Messiah of the Bible, not one thrust upon us by religion. We encourage one and all to do the same.
If you have not yet noticed, you should see that more often than not, the “Jesus Christ” that most Christians worship/follow is a false messiah.
The true Messiah was a Hebrew man, sent to gather Israel and Judah along with gentiles into the new covenant Israel of YAHUAH/Elohim.
The Greeks and Romans did not want anything to do with the conquered Jews and rejected everything of the Jews. As a result, they created their own version of the Messiah based on their long history of pagan and mythological beliefs.
If you are a Christian, that is most likely the false Greco-Roman messiah you follow, in some shape or form, most likely under the unoriginal name of “Jesus.” In other words, you are most likely following a lie.
How many of us are following the true biblical Messiah? Sadly, almost all of us are following a false made-up Messiah. So, I will leave you in the same manner in which I started this article:
Mat 24:4 – 5 And Yahusha answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am the Messiah; and shall deceive many. Do not be deceived!
“GOD” WILL UNDERSTAND?

Hello Mr. Brian, since you are looking for the pure teaching of Messiah at the end of times pls consider to study the doctrines and history of Iglesia Ni Cristo or Church of Christ which re-existed in the Philippines on July 27, 1914. Hope you will be enlighten about your quest for the true Messiah. God Bless…
Thanks Jose, but I am not searching for the true Messiah. I already found him, and he is not found in any denomination under the name “Christ.” The true Messiah was Hebrew from the tribe of Yahudah (Judah)and hence could not be named Christ. Instead, he would have been Mashiach. What’s in a name?
The name Christ bears attributes of the false European Messiah who was not the Messiah of the Bible. “Christ” comes in varying degrees, with Greco-Roman traditions and doctrines intertwined with Biblical truth. As the word says in Jer 6:16 (paraphrased) ask for the old path, where is the good way, and you shall find rest for your souls.
Your assessment of the Bible is very impressive. I would like to know more of your denomination, where is it headquartered or if there are branches in other countries. I would also like to subscribe to your program to receive weekly or monthly issues as I would like to know more of the true Gospel and its teachings. Thank you.
As much as I agree with some of your teaching’s points about the caucasian blond and blue eye Jesus… I totally disagree with your teaching about Jewish Jesus born of virgin Mary not to be God King of kings and Lord of lord’s. How do you explain the whole book of Revelation where the risen Jesus is revealed to APOSTEL John? Who is the Alpha and Omega is it the same Messiah to you or another being. Please explain Revelation 21:6-8. There can’t be two Gods and two Lord’s in heaven according to Deut 6:4 and Eph4:4_6 so my brother with all due respect if Jesus is Lord or Alpha and Omega and God is a Spirit who ‘s fullness lives in THE MESSIAH BODILY(Colossians 2:1-10) WHY CAN’T WE CALL THAT BODY GOD AND WORSHIP HIM..? JESUS NEVER STOPPED ANYONE TO WORSHIP HIM LIKE ANGELS HAS DONE OR ARE STILL DOING. TO ANALYZE ISRAEL AND GENTILE, BOND AND FREE, MALE AND FEMALE UNDER THE UNIFICATION OF THE FAITH IN THE LAMB THAT WAS SLAIN IS WRONG AS WE ALL BECOME CHILDREN AND EQUAL HEIRS OF THE PROMISE. THE SAME YOU CAN’T DIS INHERIT YOUR LEGAL ADOPTED CHILD SO ARE WE ALL HEIRS OF EVERLASTING LIFE BY FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST THE JEWISH MESSIAH WHO WAS IS AND IS TO COME. PLEASE DON’T TRY TO CONFUSE BELIEVERS AND PUT THEM UNDER THE LAW JESUS FULFILLED THE LAW ON BEHALF OF ALL HUMAN KIND HE NEVER SINNED WHILE ALL HAVE SINNED THAT IS WHY HE IS THE PERFECT PROVIDED SACRIFICE TO SAVE THE WORLD. BY GRACE ALL BELIEVERS IN HIM ARE SAVED FROM THE DAY OF JUDGMENT John3:16,36. IF YOU DON’T WANT TO BELIEVE THAT HE IS I AM (John 8: 12-30)YOU DIE IN YOUR SIN. SHALOM
Thanks Joan. First of all you have given me too many things on which to comment, so I will only comment on about 2 or few. Firstly, I don’t expect a Christian to believe everything I write, as what I write is not based on a religion, seminary teachings or denominational teaching. The question as to whether Yahusha HaMashiach is Elohiym or who you call “God,” is dealt with in this series called “Should we Worship the Messiah? available here: http://justaword.org/tag/should-we-worship-the-messiah/.
Re: the book of Revelation. The first verse tells us who the words in Revelation came from. It is a chain that started with the Almighty and ended with Yahuchanon (John):
Rev 1:1 The Revelation of Yahusha, which YHWH gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
So the chain is YHWH to Yahusha to the Angel to Yahuchanon. Now when Yahusha spake, he spake as YHWH just as when the angels came down in the old testament and spake as YHWH. Here is the example of the angel of YHWH speaking to Hagar IN THE FIRST PERSON JUST AS YAHUSHA DID:
Gen 16:10 And the angel of YHWH said unto her, I WILL MULTIPLY thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude.
The angel was speaking as YHWH even though it was an angel.
Re: IF YOU DON’T WANT TO BELIEVE THAT HE IS I AM (John 8: 12-30)YOU DIE IN YOUR SIN. Where in the Bible is that? John 8:12-30 says nothing as such. It is this twisting of scripture that comes with religion. In order to scare me and make the point you wish to make, you make a statement that is totally unbiblically and give an unrelated verse. Oh boy.
The rest of your comment will take too much to make a response here. YHWH is not the author of confusion, why not deal with one thing at a time? Anyway, some have already been dealt with on Just a Word and I hope that others will be dealt with in time.
Do you use the CEPHER-Abridged-Edition for your bible? I love how it has the accurate names.
I actually have the Cepher, but hardly use it.
Thank you for sharing. I found everything you shared here to be very informative and helpful. I look forward to reading more of your articles, they have truly been a blessing.
