The dates of the autumn (fall) feasts for 2026 were particularly difficult to calculate. This is because of the date and time of the new moon.
Of course, to calculate the feasts, you have to get the first day correct. This is the first day of the seventh month (the new moon of the seventh month), which is the day (feast) of trumpets.
All other days are just counted from that day. Get that date right, everything else becomes easy. For example, Trumpets will be first day, Day of Atonement the 9th to the 10th day, Feast Of Tabernacles the 15th day and so on.
Please note, that we do not keep a lunar calendar, but believe that the moon determines the months, while the son determines the days, years and weeks. Take a look at how we believe the calendar is determined.
But the new moon was very complicated to calculate for March, 2026. Note that the dark moon is the new moon, but new moon day, which we celebrate, is (usually) the next day.
Initially, in calculating the fall feasts, we did this with much care and we came up with the new moon day (first day) in the seventh month (day of Trumpets) as being the 19th of March. This was based on one critical factor: the Most High’s day begins in the morning and ends before dawn the next morning. More on this later.
But then one email came in, and forgetfulness caused an erroneous response.
I made the calculation of new moon day being March 19th from in September 2025. now at this time, I did not not even remember the conclusion as to why March 19th and not March 20. Here is the caption from the email. The person wrote.
1. You have 3/19/26 as the Feast of Trumpets on your calendar. I show 3/20/26 as New Moon Day and then 3/21/26 is Shabbat. That would be 3 high days in a row. Is this correct? (All my sources say New Moon Day is 3/20/26).

Then I recalculated, not remembering the critical factor that made us conclude that the date was the 19th of March. This was my response:
Thanks for your query into the Feast Of Trumpets. Trumpets is on the new moon day of the
seventh month, which is indeed March 20, 2026, instead of March 19, 2026.Don’t know how I missed that, but I am happy you pointed it out. I will have to change it
and make it public so others can catch it. That is a vital error as it throws out all the other
feast days that follow.
But then, someone reminded me to check again. That was when Ruach HaQadosh (the Holy Spirit) brought all things to my remembrance!
I remembered what made us conclude that the new moon day (first day) in the seventh month (day of Trumpets) was the 19th of March, and not the 20th.
Now, you may disagree, but I believe that we have been given access to certain tools that help us. One of them is a moon app that lets us know the percentage of the moon. According to the book of Enoch, the moon needs about 2% illumination to be a new moon day.
If we look on the app for the dates, we see that the fully dark moon is on the 19th of March at 3:23 am.

Biblically, that is still the 18th of March, as the day would end just before dawn. Dawn brings the start of the new day, the 19th. However, Babylon’s way of calculating time is different from the scriptures. If you are confused, take a look at when a day begins from these previous posts.
When Does the Sabbath Begin (When Does a Day Begin)? Interesting Proof!
Also we have several more posts proving when a day begins. Check this out: as well
When day begins.
So, based on this premise (day begins at dawn), we look at when it goes into Babylon’s March 20th before dawn. This is still the 19th in bible time. See it below.

That is 12:20 am, and it is still at 1%. That is not the 2% needed for it to be a new moon day according to the book of Enoch. But when we go to 3:20 am, we see that it is at 3%.

So with new moon day being the day in which the first sliver is seen, that time of the night is biblically still the 19th. Hence, we celebrate the new moon day on the 19th as the new moon sliver will be seen on the night of the biblical 19th, which is Babylon’s March 20, 2026.
The plain secret is that Babylon’s calculation of a day is what is throwing off almost all the calculations of feast days and new moons. We must go back to the old path, which is the good way.
Jer_6:16 Thus saith I AM WHO I AM, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.
It is following the (relatively) new ways of man that has thrown off much of our calendar calculations.
Mat 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
This is what almost happened to me when I responded to this person. I went back to Babylon’s way of keeping time, forgetting the old path. The new moon of the 7th month, the day (feast) of trumpets, is March 19, 2026. My sincere apologies to those impacted by this error. Here are the dates below.
