What Is the Israel of God/Elohim (YAHUAH) – (Updated)
What is the Israel of God or the Israel of Elohim or Israel of YAHUAH?
In Galations 6, Apostle Sha’ul (Paul) speaks of the Israel of Elohim (YAHUAH). The King James version says the Israel of God.
In the entire Bible, the specific term, ‘the Israel of Elohim’ (Israel of God in KJV) is found only once.
Gal 6:15-16 For in Mashiach Yahusha neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God (KJV).
So it begs the question, what is the Israel of Elohim/YAHUAH?
As the verse tells us, it is an Israel where if we are circumcised, it means nothing and if we are not circumcised, it also means nothing as well.
This is a mystery for us, which we will try to solve today.
Some believe the new testament Israel of YAHUAH is only Jews, or Israel in the flesh. Some say it is Christians?
Now it seems like an easy mystery to solve just by matching this one verse below with Galatian 6:16. Sha’ul tells us that in our new covenant:
Rom 2:28 – 29 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of YAHUAH.
That appears to be saying anyone can be a Jew doesn’t it? That is what Christians claim it to mean.
Now matching it back with Galations 6…
Gal 6:15-16 For in Mashiach Yahusha neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of Elohim (God in KJV).
We see that the Israel of YAHUAH is the body of new covenant believers whose hearts are circumcised through faith in Yahusha HaMashiach. This includes both Jews and Gentiles.
Problem solved: game over? No, not quite.
There are so many things we don’t know about the “culture” of the day in which Sha’ul was speaking. As we shall see further on, it is not that simple. First of all, a Jew is a descendant of Jacob. The term is used for those from the kingdom of Judah (either from the tribe of Judah or Benjamin).
One cannot become a Jew unless one is referring to a religion of man (Judaism) and the Most High does not recognize religions.
So in saying he is a Jew that is one inwardly, he was not saying anyone can be a Jew. Rather, he was saying a true Jew (in the eyes of the Most High) is one whose heart is circumcised. It is the same as saying this:
Romans 9:6Â Not as though the word of Elohiym hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:
Not all who are Israelites are seen as Israel before the Most High. So, it is all deeper than it first appears. As a result, we have to dive deeper. So let’s go.
WHAT WE FIRST MUST UNDERSTAND
There are some foundation teachings that we must get first in order to understand what is the Israel of God (KJV). Without an understanding of these, it is most likely that you will not get it. You will not be able to get too far into this teaching without thinking that this is a false teaching.
1. THE BIBLE IS NOT ABOUT A RELIGION, IT IS ABOUT A NATION
The Bible is not about a religion (Christianity), but about a nation (Israel). As such, everything about it is based on this one people. The prophecies, the promises, the service and more all for and about one people.
In fact, he calls himself the Elohiym of these one people or their forefathers. He never calls himself the “god” of the world. That title is reserved for Satan in 2 Corinthians 4:4.
The Bible is called a Christian Bible by Christians but it is not. They can claim it, but it is not theirs.
Therefore, the Israel of Elohiym refers to a nation of people, not a religion of people.
2. ALL JEWS ARE ISRAELITES BUT NOT ALL ISRAELITES ARE JEWS
If you do not understand the Jews to whom the Bible is referring, then you will never understand this teaching. The Jews referred to in the Bible are from the southern kingdom of Judah. We have to remember that Israel split into 2 nations after Solomon.
The northern kingdom of Israel also known as Ephraim consisted of 10 tribes. These were long lost among the Gentiles, having gone into exile from 722 BC.
The southern kingdom of Judah, on the other hand, was still around at the time of the Messiah and was made up of two tribes (Judah and Benjamin) along with some of the Levites who did service in the temple.
The people of the southern kingdom are who the Bible refers to as the Jews. That is why Sha’ul could call himself an Israelite from the tribe of Benjamin (Phi 3:5) and a Jew (Acts 21:39), as he was from the tribe of Benjamin.
This deception, that Jews are synonymous with Israelites, has been further strengthened through the formation of the state of Israel. They all call themselves Jews. Therefore, if we do not understand the history of the people, we will be deceived into thinking all Israelites are Jews and that Jew is another name for Israelites!
Therefore, when the Bible says neither Jews nor Greeks, it does not mean neither Israelites nor Greeks. It means neither Jews (southern kingdom) nor Greeks. The Israelites as we shall see, were also among the Greeks. This also makes this teaching more interesting.
SEVERAL MEANINGS OF GENTILES
Unfortunately, it also get a little more complicated when we realize that there are different meanings for Gentiles in scripture. Here are the different meanings for Gentiles found in the Bible:
- The nations of the world
- The heathen
- Israelites who have become one with other nations
3. ISRAELITE GENTILES
The last one is what now makes it even more unclear as to what the Israel of YAHUAH is. Because Israel has been scattered for so long (since 722 BC), they have become one with the nations. Therefore, they are Greeks, Romans, Egyptians, Assyrians and many other nations.
So in Isaiah 19:20-25 when he calls Egypt “my people,” he is actually speaking of Israelites who have become Egyptians. The proof is in verse 20:
Isa 19:20Â And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto YAHUAH of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they (Israelites) shall cry unto YAHUAH because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them.
Who shall cry unto YAHUAH because of the oppressors? Israelites who are one with the Egyptians and are therefore Gentiles. How do we know that? The saviour is sent to deliver his people Israel from their enemies. He never sent a saviour to any other nation:
Isa 43:3Â For I am YAHUAH thy Elohiym, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.
Acts 5:30 – 31Â The Elohiym of our fathers raised up Yahusha, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree. Him hath YAHUAH exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
Act 13:23Â Of this man’s seed hath YAHUAH according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Yahusha:
Now here is solid proof that the Egyptians to be gathered in Isaiah 19:20-25 will be Israelite Gentiles:
Isaiah 11:11Â And it shall come to pass in that day, that YAHUAH shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.
Therefore, the point is proven that Israelites were Gentiles all over the world.
HOW DID ISRAELITES BECOME GENTILES?
First of all, we know that Israel has been in bondage several times. Each time they go into bondage, they have some people left among the nations. What’s more, they are a migratory people and have taken themselves among many nations. We only have to look at the account in the book of Acts to see.
Act 2:5-11Â And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?
And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born? Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia, Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes, Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of YAHUAH.
There we see Yahudiym (Jews) from all over the world. Note also they were in Egypt, which also explains the previous verses we looked at in Isaiah 19:20-25.
The Jews there in Acts 2:5-11 though, kept their heritage. They were the circumcision (circumcised), and followed the law of Moses, so they were not Gentiles.
We present it to show that there were Israelites living in every nation. Because not at all kept their heritage, the ones who didn’t keep their heritage (circumcision and the law of Moses) were called Gentiles:
4. ISRAELITES ONE WITH THE GREEKS?
The following excerpt from the Macabees shows us just how Israel came to be one with the Greeks (hence, neither Jews nor Greeks):
1 Maccabees 1: 41-44
Moreover king Antiochus (of Greece) wrote to his whole kingdom that all should be one. And everyone should leave his law: so all the heathen agreed accordingly to the commandments of the king.
Yea, many also of the Israelites consented to his religion and sacrifice unto idols and profaned the sabbaths. For the king had sent letters by messengers unto Jerusalem and to the cities of Juda, that they should follow the strange law of the land.
2 Maccabees 6:1–
Not long after they sent a man from Athens (Greece) to compel the Jews to depart from the law of their fathers, and not live after the law of YAHUAH. And to pollute the temple in Jerusalem, and called it the temple (church) of Jupiter Olympius and that in Garizm of Jupiter, the defender of strangers. The temple was filled with riots and revelling Gentiles. Neither was it lawful for a man to keep the sabbath days or ancient feasts or profess himself at all to be a Jew.
This strategy has continued throughout the ages. However, most importantly for us today, this is how Israelites became Gentiles. Many went to live among the Greeks as well as other Gentiles and were called and considered to be Greeks or whichever nation they sojourned in. They having long left the law of Moses and circumcision and become one with the enemy: following the enemy’s religions and ways of life for generations.
Therefore, many of the times Sha’ul (Paul) was speaking to the Gentiles, he was speaking to Israelites (lost sheep) who were among the nations.
5. STRANGERS (GENTILES) CANNOT BECOME ISRAELITES
Another prerequisite to understanding what is the Israel of God (KJV) is that strangers cannot become Israelites. Strangers can join themselves to Israel, but in the end (in the kingdom), they will remain strangers with different roles from the Israelites.
Of course, the term “different roles” is putting it mildly. Here we see that strangers remain strangers distinct from Israelites in the kingdom.
Isa 14:1Â For YAHUAH will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land: and the strangers shall be joined with them, and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob.
Isa 14:2Â And the people shall take them, and bring them to their place: and the house of Israel shall possess them (strangers/Gentiles) in the land of YAHUAH for servants and handmaids: and they shall take them captives, whose captives they were; and they shall rule over their oppressors.
There we see that the strangers remain strangers distinct from Israel, even though they have joined themselves to Israel. Unfortunately for these strangers, even though they are in the kingdom, they will be servants to the children of Israel. More proof?
Amo 9:11-12 In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins (through the Messiah), and I will build it as in the days of old (one united kingdom of Israel): That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called by my name, saith YAHUAH that doeth this.
There we see all the heathen called by YAHUAH’S name, meaning the believers. All those who are are not Israelites will be owned (possessed) by Israelites.
Furthermore, it is written many times in the Tanakh, speaking of the children of Israel AND the strangers that sojourn among them (join themselves to them) as remaining separate.
Lev_17:8Â And thou shalt say unto them, Whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers which sojourn among you, that offereth a burnt offering or sacrifice,
A stranger remains a stranger even though joined to Israel. A stranger cannot become an Israelite.
SUMMARY OF WHAT WE MUST FIRST UNDERSTAND (NOT TAUGHT IN CHRISTIANITY)
So here is a summary of what WE must first understand before we can move onto the rest of this study:
- The Bible is about a nation of people, not a religion
- All Jews are Israelites, but not all Israelites are Jews
- Gentiles in the new testament includes Israelites
- Greeks in the new testament includes Israelites
- Strangers cannot become Israelites
IS CHRISTIANITY THE ISRAEL OF YAHUAH?
Now, could the Israel of God (KJV) also refer to Christians who say they have faith in the Messiah?
Unfortunately for Christians, there is a marked difference between the Israel of YAHUAH and Christianity, and that is obedience.
New covenant Israel obeys the Father and the Son:
Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints (the holy ones): here are they that keep the commandments of YAHUAH, and the faith of Yahusha.
Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
1Jn 3:8 Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of YAHUAH appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.
Christians to varying degrees mostly do not keep the commandments of YAHUAH. So because the Israel of YAHUAH is marked by obedience, how can Christians be the Israel of YAHUAH?
But there is more.
The Church?
What is the Israel of God (KJV)? Christians erroneously believe that the Israel of God (KJV) is the Christian church. However, we suggest that you read Why the Institutional Church is not biblical: Ekklesia vs Church to see that church is a false, non-biblical institution of man. It is not the biblical body of the true Messiah.
Without this understanding also, this post might not be so clear to you. Therefore, we post a comparison table here, to show you that a church is miles apart from the biblical assembly shown to us from Acts chapters 4 and 5.
Why it is important that we understand?
However, it is better not to leave it there but go into detail so as to show how critical it is for us to understand the depths of “the Israel of God” (KJV). In so doing we can solve the puzzle as to what is the Israel of God (KJV)?
Does it Matter What We Call Ourselves?
Now it is not important what we call ourselves as believers. I merely refer to myself as a disciple or follower of the Messiah Yahusha or a follower of the way.
What is important is who we are. Who we are? But why? Aren’t we all equal?
An often-ignored fact is that there are different roles in the kingdom dependent on what nation you belong to. We have already shown this in Isa 14:1-2 and Amos 9:11-12. Let us sow one more. This is Yesha’Yahu declaring the good news (gospel) in Isaiah 61:
Isa 61:5-6 And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers. But ye (Israelites) shall be named the Priests of YAHUAH: men shall call you the Ministers of our Elohiym: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves.
Once again, for the third time today, we have shown you that in the kingdom, it does matter who you are. Israelites get top billing. Strangers/non-Israelite Gentiles will be their servants.
Get it into your head that the Holy Scriptures is about promises to one nation of people: the children of Israel. In fact, the Most High only called himself the Elohiym of Israel or of their forefathers (Abraham, Isaac and Jacob).
Why will other nations be the servants of Israelites? Righteous judgment. Israel has been persecuted and abused by the other nations throughout history. In the end, they will be gathered and rewarded for their longsuffering.
Any other people who want to be in covenant with the Most High Elohiym of Israel must join themselves to Israel by taking hold of the covenant (law) that was given to Israel.
Exo_12:49Â One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.
Isa 56:3Â Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to YAHUAH, speak, saying, YAHUAH hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.
Isa 56:6Â Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to YAHUAH, to serve him, and to love the name of YAHUAH, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;
The Israel of YAHUAH is Not the “Church”
By calling the assembly a false name (Christianity) and giving it false attributes as they have done with the word ‘church,’ the enemy is able to deceive us into following false doctrines, false prophets, false teachers in a false religion led by a false version of the Messiah.
They have not joined themselves to Israel by taking hold of his covenant (law) as scripture provided for, as they have rejected his law to varying degrees.
For example, SDA Christians claim to keep the law, but they have done violence to the law by dividing it into what they call moral laws and say the other laws are ceremonial. So for example, they keep the seventh-day Sabbath, but refuse to keep the rest of the Sabbaths (feasts) found in Leviticus 23.
So it is very important that we know what the Israel of YAHUAH is. When we do so, it will point out once again, the errors of Christianity.
Tracing the Israel of YAHUAH Back to the Tanakh (Old Testament)
Let us start (yes, we have just started) by looking at scriptures that will lead us to this Israel of Elohim/YAHUAH. Let’s trace the Israel of God (KJV) from the Tanakh.
We must begin in the old testament to set a scriptural foundation so we can understand what was manifested in the new testament.

The Promise
We begin with the promise to gather Israel, Judah and Gentile believers. This will show what was prophesied to be coming in the new testament. It will show us who will be circumcised in the heart according to Romans 2:28-29 and how they will be circumcised:
Isa 11:10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse (a man descended from the line of Jesse), which shall stand for an ensign (banner) of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.
Isa 11:12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations (Gentiles), and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.
As we see, the prophecy (see Isaiah 11:12) was not for the Messiah to be sent to Christians to start a religion. He was sent to fulfill prophecies to be an ensign (sign/signal/banner) to the nations (Gentiles). Most importantly, who will he gather?
- Israel
- Judah
Why will only these 2 be gathered?
This is the fulfillment of the dry bones, the whole house of Israel (Ezek 37:11) waking up (Ezek 37:1-14) and coming together.
It is also the joining together of the 2 sticks (Ezek 37:15-28).
Eze 37:16-17Â Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions:
And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.
This joining of the 2 sticks is manifested in the Israel of YAHUAH (joined together under one shepherd, Yahusha HaMashiach. This was prophesied here by the prophet Yecezqel:
Eze 34:12Â As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.
Eze 34:23Â And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David (to be fulfilled through Yahusha HaMashiach); he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.
This double combination (Israel, Judah), a gathering of all into one body will be the new covenant/testament Israel of YAHUAH which we will further prove in this post. So with what we have learnt so far, verses like these now take on a new meaning.
1 Cor 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body (Israel of YAHUAH/ekklesia/called out assembly), whether we be Jews (house of Judah) or Gentiles (lost house of Israel that is among the nations), whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
WHAT ABOUT NON-ISRAELITES?
So this begs the question, what about non-Israelites. Surely they are not locked out?!
No, they are not. As stated before there is still space in the kingdom for non-Israelites (Gentiles who are not the children of Israel). As we have looked at in Isa 14:1-2, Amos 9:11-12 and Isa 61:5-6, the heathen (non-Israelite Gentiles) who accept Messiah (called by YAHUAH’S name, will be servants of the children of Israel.
Amo 9:11-12 In that day (the time of the Messiah) will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins (through the Messiah), and I will build it as in the days of old (whole house of Israel/12 tribes of Israel): That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called by my name, saith YAHUAH that doeth this.
The House of Israel
Now let us re-enforce what was just said (house of Israel and house of Judah will be gathered to make up the whole house of Israel). Let us do so by matching Isaiah 11:10 and 12 with the following verses to speak volumes and make it even more profound:
Mat 15:24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
Isa 11:12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations (Gentiles), and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.
The house of Israel is an interesting term as it is used in the Bible to mean all the tribes of Israel (as in Exo 16:31). After the split between Israel and Judah, it was often used to refer to only the 10 northern tribes of the kingdom of Israel (as in Jer 5:11).
To figure out which it meant, we have to look at the context. By matching the prophecy in Isaiah 11:12 we can safely say that there it was referring to all of Israel (including Judah).
This would make the following verse match perfectly with old testament prophecy, specifically Isaiah 11:12.
John 10:16 And other sheep I have (lost Israelites), which are not of this fold (house of Judah): them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold (Israel of YAHUAH: Gal 6:16), and one shepherd (Yahusha HaMashiach).
That is the gathering of scattered Israel and dispersed Judah into the new covenant Israel of God (KJV).
Bear in mind, there was no prophecy of gathering Gentiles alone, with Israel being left behind (replacement theology of Christianity).
Israel is his firstborn (Exo 4:22). In fact, in all things, Judah is first (Judges 1:1-2).
So what about the other Gentiles who are not of the seed of Jacob?
Agan, they shall cling to the house of Israel, but remain, strangers, even though they are in the one body (Eph 4:4-6).
How the Israel of God/YAHUAH is being Gathered
It is not an entitlement primarily because of who one is. They are not all Israel that are Israel (Rom 9:6). He is not a Jew who is one outwardly (Rom 2:28).
Israel and Judah are gathered through faith in Yahusha HaMashiach, the Son of the living Elohiym (Eph 4:4-6) and the resulting circumcision of the heart, where one is transformed into a new creature (Gal 5:16).
The two sticks (Ezek 37:15-28) are gathered into one body through Yahusha. This is the Israel of YAHUAH…not the ‘church’.
1Co 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body (Israel of YAHUAH), whether we be Jews (house of Judah) or Gentiles (Israelites who were one with the Gentiles), whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
1Co_10:17 For we being many are one bread, and one body (Israel of YAHUAH): for we are all partakers of that one bread.
1Co_12:12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Mashiach.
Eph 2:8 For by favour (grace) are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of YAHUAH:
We are one body, united through favour (grace) in Yahusha. That is what unites us and removes the middle wall of partition that was between us (Eph 2:14). Now…
Gal 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek (1 Macabees 1:41-44, 2 Macabees 6:8-9), there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Mashiach Yahusha.
Biblical Truth: Inclusion of Gentiles into Israel (Ephesians 2)
However, YAHUAH’S inclusion of Israel into one body, the commonwealth of Israel, is easily seen in Ephesians 2. It is not so easily verified, and like all things biblical, can only be seen by those who have eyes to see, ears to hear and a heart to understand.
Please look at this with an open mind. Let the Ruach (Spirit) lead, let the word speak, let love be sincere and without hypocrisy (Rom 12:9):
EPHESIANS 2:11
Eph 2:11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
That verse seems so simple to understand. Sha’ul was actually speaking of 2 sets of people here:
- Gentiles in the flesh
- Circumcision in the flesh
Now why Gentile in the flesh? Because the circumcision (Jews) who kept their heritage call the uncircumcised Israelites Gentiles, because they have not circumcised the flesh of their foreskin. Circumcision and keeping the law of Moses is what the Jews used as the dividing line that makes one Gentile.
Note as well.
- In time past means they were once Gentiles (now no more)
- Who are called means they are still called uncircumcision by the Yahudiy (Jews)
EPHESIANS 2:12
Eph 2:12 That at that time ye were without Mashiach, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without YAHUAH in the world:
- At that time refers to the time when they were Gentiles IN THE FLESH (in time past)
- Being aliens at that time…in time past (we will soon see who they are now)
- They were aliens from the commonwealth of Israel in time past (we shall soon see who they are now)
- Strangers from the covenants of promise – THE PROMISES ARE ONLY FOR ISRAELITES (Romans 9:4)
- Without YAHUAH (in time past they did not know YAHUAH, being among the Gentiles for so long)
Eph 2:13 But now in Mashiach Yahusha ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Mashiach.
The bible describes his priests as being nigh unto YAHUAH. Strangers were not allowed to come nigh!
Num 3:10 And thou shalt appoint Aaron and his sons, and they shall wait on their priest’s office: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.
But now?
1 Pe 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Which in time past were not a people (in time past Gentiles in the flesh), but are now the people of YAHUAH (who are the people of YAHUAH?): which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
Also worthy of note, that strangers CANNOT be priests of YAHUAH. Only Israelites can be priests; therefore only the children of Israel can be nigh unto YAHUAH. See Why Gentiles cannot be priests of YAHUAH.
EPHESIANS 2:18
Now why all this? Let us continue in Ephesians 2.
Eph 2:18 For through him we both (refers to two: he did not say “we all”)Â have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
- Through him means through Yahusha
- We both refers to both houses of Israel (the whole house of Israel)
- One Spirit is Ruach HaKodesh/Holy Spirit/Spirit of Messiah
EPHESIANS 2:19
Eph 2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of YAHUAH;
- No more strangers and foreigners means no more Gentiles. So then, who are they?…
- They are now fellowcitizens with the saints. Citizens of where? Verse 12: the commonwealth of Israel!
- The household of YAHUAH. What is his house? The new covenant Israel of YAHUAH, the whole house of Israel!
NO MORE STRANGERS AND FOREIGNERS
This statement is very revealing. Remember we said strangers cannot become Israelites? This is where it manifests truth. In Ephesians 2:19, Sha’ul is telling us that they are no more strangers. However, as we have seen in Isaiah 14:1-3, Amos 9:11-12 and Isa 61:5-6, non-Israelites will still remain, strangers in the kingdom.
Therefore, the believers to whom Sha’ul is referring in Ephesians 2:19 as not being strangers and foreigners anymore, must therefore be Israelites!
EPHESIANS 2:20
Verse 19 compares with verse 12 which spoke of “at that time.” Verse 19 now tells us what is NOW! Now let us look at the foundation on which the Gentile believers are now built.
Eph 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Yahusha HaMashiach himself being the chief corner stone;
The former Gentiles are now built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets! Why is this super, super important? Take a look at the description of the kingdom that is promised to Israel from the Tanakh (old testament) now manifested to Yahuchanon in Revelation.
Rev 21:14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
And what about entry? Through the 12 tribes of Israel:
Rev 21:12Â And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
The former Gentile Israelites are now brought into the commonwealth of Israel, the household of YAHUAH…the Israel of YAHUAH! They are no longer strangers but partakers of the covenants of promise!
This is a new Israel in which man cannot boast (where neither circumcision nor uncircumcision matters). On the other hand, it is made up of those who walk by faith, love and humility in the Messiah (John 15:6-7) and make no provision for the flesh (Rom 13:14).
This is an Israel determined by YAHUAH who only accepts those who strive to enter through faith in his son. As the Messiah said:
Joh 6:63 The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life.
So those who are religiously following the traditions of man, or those who believe that they are sons of Jacob so they get a free pass had better wake up.
How is the Israel of Elohim (YAHUAH) Gathered?
We will get even more insight into the importance of understanding the new covenant Israel of YAHUAH, when we look at how it is gathered.
The new covenant Israel of YAHUAH is one chosen by the Father according to our desire (free will). If we seek we shall find.
The Messiah is the key. It is through him that the body will be gathered. However:
Joh 6:44 No man (Jew nor Gentile) can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
How does the Father draw us to the Son?
The Father first has to draw us to the son. But how? Why would he choose me and not another?
It all depends on us (free will). This is the importance of the good news (gospel).
Mar 16:15-16 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
When we hear the good news, if we have the heart to obey the good news, then the Father will draw us to the Son. If we don’t have interest in the good news, then they will be locked out and cannot understand the good news:
Mat 13:10 – 13 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.
Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
What happens when we are drawn to the Son?
The Father draws us to partake of his promise by pulling us to baptize in the name of his son and receive the gift of Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit).
Act 2:38 – 39 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Yahusha HaMashiach for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
For the promise is unto you (Israel), and to your children, and to all that are afar off (Gentiles), even as many as YAHUAH our Elohim shall call.
We are drawn when we obey the gospel, when we by faith accept the promise of eternal life in the kingdom of YAHUAH. It is our choice. We can either accept or reject.
Mark 16:16Â He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
What if we don’t obey the good news (gospel)?
What if we reject the good news? Unfortunately, if we do not obey (reject) the good news, then:
2 Th 1:8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not YAHUAH, and that obey not the gospel of our Master Yahusha HaMashiach:
1 Pe 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of YAHUAH: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of Elohim?
The Israel of Elohim (YAHUAH) is Not Christianity!
The new covenant Israel of YAHUAH is therefore not a religion. If you study carefully, you will see that it is not Christianity or any other religion. There is no provision for a religion to enter the kingdom. The only provision is for us to follow the Messiah, who is the way:
Joh 14:6 Yahusha saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
The new covenant Israel like the Israel of old, is a people. However, this new covenant people will be a holy people who will finally fulfill this:
Exo 19:6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.
And this is the fulfillment in our new covenant:
1 Pe 2:9 – 10 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of YAHUAH (Israel of YAHUAH): which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
See Why Gentiles Cannot Be Priests of YAHUAH.
Who Are The People of YAHUAH?
Now who are the people of YAHUAH?
Israel.
Amo 7:15 And YAHUAH took me as I followed the flock, and YAHUAH said unto me, Go, prophesy unto my people Israel.
Prophesies of the new covenant…
Eze 34:30 Thus shall they know that I YAHUAH their Elohim am with them, and that they, even the house of Israel, are my people, saith YAHUAH Elohim.
Again prophesying of the new covenant…
Jer 31:1 At the same time, saith YAHUAH, will I be the Elohim of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.
Israel is his people.
Now the following verse is used to imply that he will now have a new people who are not Israelites.
Rom 9:25 As he saith also in Osee, I will call them (former Gentiles) my people (Israel of YAHUAH), which were not my people (Israel in the flesh); and her beloved, which was not beloved.
Sha’ul made reference to Hosea in Rom 9:25. If we look back to the original scripture, we see he was speaking specifically of Israel.
Hos_1:10Â Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living Elohiym.
That is the Israel of YAHUAH: Israel finally gathered together from both houses of Israel to form one body, one kingdom under one shepherd, Yahusha HaMashiach.
In the end, Israel will remain his people: hence the Israel of God (KJV) in Galatians 6:15-16.
The people of YAHUAH will inherit the kingdom. They are not followers of a particular religion. They follow the true Messiah of the Bible and holiness unto YAHUAH will decide who enters the kingdom.
Zep 3:13 The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.
Heb 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see YAHUAH:
STRANGERS CLING TO THE ISRAEL OF GOD (KJV)
Of course, we must emphasize that strangers/heathen/non-Israelites will also cling to the Israel of YAHUAH, just as they clung to the children of Israel coming out of Egypt. Back then, a mixed multitude left Egypt.
Exo 12:38Â And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle.
However, to reinforce our point thatstrangers remain separate? Let us see what happened after the temple was restored and the law was read:
Neh 13:3Â Now it came to pass, when they had heard the law, that they separated from Israel all the mixed multitude.
Now why is this important?
Isa 8:20Â To the law (Exo 12:38) and to the testimony (Neh 13:3): if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
Christianity: the man-made religion
Christianity is a man-made religion of opportunistic Europeans. We can’t say it enough. If you doubt it, please go study the history of the ‘church’ and see how the church fathers changed the faith of the 1st century Hebrews over time until now Christianity bears little similarity to the faith of old.
They took the truth and added their own doctrines, beliefs, and traditions. This totally goes against the command of YAHUAH.
Deu 12:32 What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.
That verse in Deuteronomy makes the current religion of Christianity a transgression against the commands of the Most High. It is the sum total of additions and subtractions.
Why is this important? The Christian institution called the church is not the Messiah’s institution. The Messiah came for Israel, not for a neo-pagan religion:
Mat 15:24 He answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”
The Will of the Father vs The Will of Man
How do we know the Israel of YAHUAH is not Christianity? Those gathered are being gathered to enter the kingdom of YAHUAH. To enter, they will have to do the will of YAHUAH.
Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Christians go against the will of YAHUAH and follow the will of man through a disobedient religion. Just one example: YAHUAH gave us his Sabbaths, most Christians keep Sunday worship and other pagan holidays. This is even though the Catholic church boasted that there is no biblical foundation for the change. According to them, they changed it because they have a right to change anything in the bible.
In so doing, Sunday Christians have chosen the will of man over the will of YAHUAH. Matthew 7:21 to 23 shows a rejection for the lawless who do not obey the will of the Father. The Sabbath is a sign between him and his people (Exo 31:13). His people keep the Sabbath (Exo 31:17, Heb 4:8-10).
Now it is the Father who will judge what will happen to the disobedient Sabbath profaners, but just giving an example.
Now let us look a little closer at how Christianity teaches against the will of the Father and is laden with the will of man.
Lest you don’t believe the disparity between the faith of old and that of Christianity today, or don’t believe that there is a false Christian messiah, take a look at these 10 differences between the Christian messiah and the Jesus Messiah of the Bible.
10 Differences between the Christian Messiah and the Messiah of the Bible
- The real Messiah said he did not come to destroy the law (Mat 5:17-18). The messiah under the Jesus banner most often than not says the law is done away with.
- The biblical Messiah kept the Sabbath (Luke 4:16). Most of Christendom says Sabbath is done with even though there is no prophecy in scripture that this would occur (Amos 3:7). Bear in mind that we must abide in him (John 15:4-6) and if we abide in him we must walk as he walked (1 John 2:6).
- Biblical Messiah kept the feasts of YAHUAH (Luke 2:41-42, John 2:33). Almost all of Christendom rejects the feasts and most opt to keep the pagan influenced feasts including Christmas (feast of Saturnalia) and Easter (which honours Easter/Eostra/Ishtar/Isis/Venus/Aphrodite/Asherah/Queen of Heaven/Cybele/Diana/Mary and other similar ‘queens of heaven.’
- True Messiah kept the food laws (or he would have sinned because sin in breaking the law – 1 John 3:4). Jesus banner says eat whatever you wish.
- The true Messiah says: be perfect (Mat 5:48), the Jesus banner says no one can be perfect.
- The true Messiah never taught religion, he taught the way (John 14:6). Christ banner says we must be Christians (religion) to enter the kingdom.
- The true Messiah said he only came for the lost sheep of the house of Israel (Mat 15:24), the Jesus banner says he is coming back for Christians.
- The true Messiah said if we endure to the end we shall be saved (Mat 24:13). Most of Christendom will tell you if you simply accept ‘Jesus’ you will be saved.
- The Messiah told us to worship the Father only (Mat 4:10). Most of Christendom worships the son.
- The son never told us he was Elohim (God). Most of Christendom worships him as a co-equal part of a trinity. Trinity is a pagan way of life as there is a trinity in almost all pagan nations stretching from Egypt (Horus, Isis and Osiris) to Mexico to China, Assyria, Babylon, and the list goes on.
The Kingdom of Heaven Is Israel’s Promised Inheritance
We must know that the kingdom of heaven/Elohiym/YAHUAH is the inheritance of Israel. It is the promise to give them back the land of Israel to the people of Israel. The bible is not a Greco-Roman, Euro-Christian book.
Israel as YAHUAH’S Inheritance
Israel in turn, is YAHUAH’S inheritance.
Jer 51:19 The portion of Jacob is not like them; for he is the former of all things: and Israel is the rod of his inheritance: YAHUAH of hosts is his name.
So we see, there is no Christian inheritance prophesied. Israel is his inheritance.
The land of Israel is Israel’s Inheritance
Israel is YAHUAH’S inheritance, but the land of Israel is Israel’s inheritance. The promise is to give them back the land of Israel (for an inheritance).
This is the promise of the new covenant kingdom of heaven/YAHUAH.
Eze 11:17 Therefore say, Thus saith YAHUAH Elohim; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.
Isa 14:1 For YAHUAH will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land: and the strangers shall be joined with them, and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob.
Do you see that? The promise of the kingdom is to Israel. He will yet choose Israel and set them in their own land. That is why the new testament assembly is not the Christian ‘church,’ but the Israel of YAHUAH!
Fulfillment of Promise for Kingdom of Israel
This is the new covenant fulfillment of the promise to give the kingdom of heaven/YAHUAH to Israel:
Rev 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from Elohim out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
Rev 21:12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
Gentiles Partake of Israel’s Inheritance
Now this verse addressed to the new covenant (former) Gentile converts at Colossae tells us that when they become true believers, non-Israelite Gentiles partake of Israel’s inheritance!
Col 1:12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
Again, former non-Israelite Gentiles who are called are partakers of Israel’s inheritance. There is no Christian inheritance.
Heb 9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
It did not say the promises (plural) of eternal inheritance. It says promise (singular). One promise. The promise of Israel’s inheritance.
HOW NON-ISRAELITE STRANGERS PARTAKE OF ISRAEL’S INHERITANCE
Although it is all about Israel, through YAHUAH’S favour (grace) and mercy, he has always made provision for the stranger. This he has also done for them to get an inheritance in the kingdom.
Eze 47:21-23Â So shall ye divide this land unto you according to the tribes of Israel.
And it shall come to pass, that ye shall divide it by lot for an inheritance unto you, and to the strangers that sojourn among you, which shall beget children among you: and they shall be unto you as born in the country among the children of Israel; they shall have inheritance with you among the tribes of Israel.
And it shall come to pass, that in what tribe the stranger sojourneth, there shall ye give him his inheritance, saith YAHUAH Elohiym.
What is the promise of eternal inheritance?
Eze 11:17 Therefore say, Thus saith YAHUAH Elohim; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.
Which is why we have:
Isa 14:1 For YAHUAH will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land: and the strangers (non-Israelite Gentiles) shall be joined with them, and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob.
Got it? If not take a look at what we get from Isaiah 14:1 above:
- YAHUAH will yet choose Israel (not Gentiles)
- They will inherit the land of Israel
- Gentiles shall be JOINED WITH them
- Gentiles chall cleave to Israel (house of Ya’aqov. Cleave means to stick, adhere, cohere, cling, to become closely attached. Stick implies attachment by affixing or by being glued together).
Israel will be chosen to inherit the kingdom; Gentiles will partake of the inheritance and join Israel and stick to them like glue and will be content to be servants.
Match that with Ephesians 2 that we looked at previously. I hope you have started to see biblical truth as we have been bombarded for centuries with the lies of Christianity.
Come out from among them!
Christianity is not the Israel of YAHUAH. Church is not the new testament assembly. Christianity is a false religion. Come out from among them and be set apart!
1 Cor 6:14-18 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
And what concord hath Mashiach with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
And what agreement hath the temple of YAHUAH with idols? for ye are the temple of the living Elohim; as YAHUAH hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their Elohim, and they shall be my people.
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate (set apart, called out), saith YAHUAH, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith El Shaddai.
Rev 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
Conclusion
What is the Israel of God (KJV)? The Israel of God (as the KJV says) or properly the Israel of Elohim or YAHUAH is totally different from Christianity. The Christian church is not the new testament assembly.
Christianity is a lawless European religion laden with pagan traditions, doctrines, and teachings. It is NOT the faith of the Hebrews, it is not the faith of the 1st-century believers. It is NOT the way (John 14:6).
Indeed, it gets easy to understand once we have an understanding of these 5 points:
- The Bible is about a nation of people (children of Israel), not a religion
- All Jews are Israelites, but not all Israelites are Jews
- Gentiles in the new testament includes Israelites
- Greeks in the new testament includes Israelites
- Strangers cannot become Israelites
The Israel of God (KJV) is made up of Israelites from both houses: the house of Judah and the house of Ephraim/Israel to fulfill prophecies of the joining of the whole house of Israel: the waking up of the dry bones. This is the promised end-time gathering of Israel which will be completed upon the return of the Messiah. This is the turning of the captivity of his people.
Strangers (non-Israelites) will join themselves to the Israel of YAHUAH. Unfortunately, they cannot be Israelites, but will be part of the one body, the kingdom of Messiah. Of course, their roles in the kingdom will be one of subservience to the children of Israel. That is what the Bible says (See Amos 9:11-12, Isa 14:2-3, Isa 61:5-6).
Must Read:
Do you find this to be true?
“for in Isaac shall thy seed be called” Genesis 21:12, but the “Isaac Sons” dropped the “I” in their name, after they founded “Abraham’s Many Nations” in the wilderness of Europe, for “Saac-Sons” or “Saxons.”
Only Anglo-Saxon, Celtic, Scandinavian, Germanic, and kindred people have fulfilled all promises and prophecies regarding the 10 Lost tribes of Israel.
1) Israel was to become a great nation and a company of great nations.(Genesis 12:2; 18:18, 17:4; 35:11; 48:19)
2) Israel to keep the gates and ports of enemies ( Genesis 22:17,Joshua 21:43-45:)
3) Israel were to be seafarers, explorers, and colonizers (Genesis 28:14; 49:13; Numbers 24:7; Deuteronomy 33:19; Judges 5:17; Psalms 2:8; 89:25)
4)Israel were to be a blessing to all families (nations) of the earth (Genesis 12:3; 18:18; 28:14; Isaiah 27:6)
5) Israel were to amass wealth and success as Farmers (Genesis 27:28; Deuteronomy 28:11; Deuteronomy 33:13, 14, 28)Boer, the word for whites in Africa, literally means farmer. Jews have been known only as bankers and merchants in history.
6) Israel was to be God’s witness and carry the word of God to all the world (Isaiah 43:10-12, 21; 59:21; Matthew 28:19-20)
7) Israel was to be God’s (“battle-axe” and an undefeatable military power (Numbers 24:8; Jeremiah 51:20-23; Isaiah 54:15-17; Micah 5:8-9)*Also note, the Battle axe was a weapon favored most by white people like the Nordic and Celtic peoples…*
8) Israel to be the first among the nations. (Gen. 27:29; 28:13; Jer. 31:7.)
9) Israel’s new home country to be north-west of the country they were driven from (Europe is NW from Israel) Isa. 49:12; Jer. 3:18.)
10) The nation of Gods people on Earth was to be born in a single day, 2534 years from the time of Assyrian Captivity in 758 BC (Mentioned often, but mostly read Deuteronomy, Isaiah, and Daniel. Its the only prophesy with an exact date, and it adds exactly to 1776. There is a video on Youtube that shows this in more detail called “America found in scripture”. That video shows the prophecies of the birth of this nation AND the attempt of Edom to flood it with immigrants to destroy Gods people, globally as well as here as one of the signs of the last days of tribulation.
11) Israel was to be blind to its identity and be called by a new name and not known as Israel (Isaiah 62:2; 65:15; Hosea 1:9-10; Romans 11:25). God stated he would put his name on Israel (Numbers 6:27) And through the Messiah would be known as “Christians”(Acts 11:26). For nearly 2000 years, all, and ONLY white nations were known as Christendom, and whites were the only Christians. Its only through the false Zionist controlled Judea Christian churches that this has changed.
